Sadly these acoustic sessions are done with them talking over any part of the songs you don’t see in these videos. The deluxe cd dvd is definitely worth picking up from eBay though!
@George Kamil In the line "colors that you shine" at 1:41 there are 3 vocal lines: The main melodic line, a second one harmonized by 3rd minor by the bassist and a third one in a lower register below the other ones harmonizing by 5th. It happens off camera but it's audible if you listen carefully, smart person from the internet.

Yeah I've recently tuned my 7 string electric to his tuning it's pretty cool all it is, is drop D with the big fat string being a B or an A in some songs. but like this song the only thing he uses the big string for is a few big chords in the chorus. Which note wise you can easily mimic on a six string just won't be as thick sounding.

Love this song. Want to hear the complete acoustic version like everyone else. Also, I want to know what the dude that the record execs supposedly forced onto the band as a ball-capped singer had in his mystery foot box. Was it just a box? Was it just for feet or band storage? Did he keep other ball caps in it? Would he perform without it? Did he just get it sprung onto him when they were doing the session by the videographer who was like "hey , other useless singers had this prop for their feet, want it?" ? Did this guy feel like he himself was lost when was joining an acoustic session with only a microphone? I could probably google his name, but I do not care enough. I just like the song.

It’s not a live sound you are hearing. It’s going through a recording system and touched up in post.
