Andy that's almost a twin to the one I used before retirement...at the end of the year I firehosed her out then when dry I'd mix up diesel and used engine oil 50/50 and fill a weed sprayer run the chain and stand at the back and spray each run down before putting it away for the winter....it seemed to keep everything free for next spring.
Really nice and well built trailer you got there 👍 looking forward to see it in the field soon... Thanks for sharing and special thanks to Chuck for the tour!
That is a heck of a nice and well built trailer looks great on either of those rigs. Time to get out there and start chopping we need to see that in the field working.
That's a nice setup, as far as the road salt I used to haul it from a barge at the river in Pittsburgh I'm not sure where it came from but that's where we got ours from down their. It's really neat seeing the salt mines in Utah they are huge I was in one once. Thanks for sharing God Bless
Good looking trailer, hope it will get plenty full after some good runs in the fields, bringing home some good feed. Best of luck with a new season about to start soon.
Great Video.... That's a Very Sweet Silage trailer y'all picked up there... I am sure your son is really gonna enjoy using this new trailer... Now all thats left to do is get one of your dependable employees certified so he can drive the C5 with the other trailer and then you'd have both Semis and trailers hauling silage to maximize your silage production... Take care and have a great day... Thanx for sharing... Andy....Southeast Missouri...
I looked through your 3 truck videos. 🚚 They were good looking and good. 👍 However, this equipage is, in my eyes, the very best combination. 🏆 I drove trucks for almost 30 years.🚚💨💨💨
Nice looking combo. Any idea of the weight of the trailer? I love the sound of the exhaust on both semis. Not usually a fan of straight pipes maybe the camera tones it down a little
I guess im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Camilo Aarav thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
The heft of that chain and all that box tube is pretty impressive not cut rate for sure ! What gpm dose it take to operate that ? Sounds super simple ,one lever to open gate and turn on chain? Then just gravity down ? Sorry so many questions just interesting ! Thanks for the ride along!!
How much larger is this trailer from the other one? Mas really builds a heavy duty trailer, an extra 900 pounds for the apron chain is well worth it. The paint job makes the trailer look very good. Thank you for today's video.
That is what I thought. I've seen loads hang up on one side causing the trailer to teeter and taking the pucker factor to 10. I was amazed at how quickly the trailer unloaded. It's honestly no longer than dumping.

back in the late 80's i loaded a load of salt in bags, and took it to Rhode island to a fish place. the place i loaded at was by a lake-and they said how deep they was, but i forget now-but it was deep. aw-yeah there was a race track near by too, and yeah it was in NY. lol

Great video Andy! That is a well built trailer! Takes a lot of horsepower to pull that trailer when loaded. Whew!

nice looking rig you guys got their boys,do they offer a grain pan for the back of the trailer so you can hall shelled corn
I'm not entirely sure, I think so
You didn't sell the other 45ft white trailer then?? Gonna run two trailers this time?? Smart looking outfit 👍👍😎nice vid.country looks lush now.
We still have the white one
Hey Andy it’s been awhile nice trailer. And just to give you heads up that salt mine ships between 4.5 and 5 million tons a year
That is a lot of salt
Gonna need floaters this year. We chopped memorial day and it's freakin wet out there. Nice trailer!
Yes floaters are going to have to be run all this year I'm afraid
Awesome trailer
Very good looking rig!
Love the sound of that Jake❤️🐝
Sweet looking rig!

It holds about 30 yards more
Nice trailer Andy.
Like the new Silage trailer, can't wait to see it action.
Beautiful W900! What’s your opinion on the W990s?
John Williams I like them
The dirt road looked a hole lot smoother than that dam 390 nice looking trailer
Nice trailer 💯💯
Still not to late to add patches to make into Holstein markings?? Nice unit though enjoy
That is one bad sounding rig and nice looking trailer I look forward to seeing them out in the field.
Nice ! Looks expensive ! Stay Safe, Andy and crew !!
Ron Grose thanks Ron
What engine is that with the jakes? What kind of exhaust are you running?
Tyler Ulwelling Cat 3406e open exhaust
Good looking set up
Beautiful country up there
Awesome I kinda figured you’d get one..
Andrew can’t wait to see the trailer work😎
so this trailer will be as good as 2 of the old trucks and dumps ?
How much more material does that trailer hold over your silage truck boxes?
Gee Sss about 40 yards more
😀👍👍 Nice New Toy Andy... We gotta wait whole 2 weeks to see her work ?? Gotta be some standing 🌽🌽 somewhere 😂
here in Texas, we're already chopping corn
That's a real nice looking trailer!
mikep7810 thanks Mike
That is a beauty trailer!
That is just one sick outfit
Can you explain the advantage of this trailer over a dump trailer for silage Andy? Another great video.
H. E. Phillips there is a high risk of tipping a dump over while unloading
That is what I thought. I've seen loads hang up on one side causing the trailer to teeter and taking the pucker factor to 10. I was amazed at how quickly the trailer unloaded. It's honestly no longer than dumping.

Just can't beat the sound of the E model
What years is that w900??
Awesome rig
Nice trailer looks tough
Is that 25 miles from the main farm or any field you farm with those tags?
25 miles from our farm
I’ve got fields further than 25 miles away from our main shop. That just seems overly restrictive.
That diller trailer I used would unload faster... 45 seconds I think it took to unload. Nice trailer none the less

Congratulations! Now the 900 needs a polish, lol
