Adorable expressions during sporting events! As for exaggerated, do you remember seeing pictures of the late Queen at horse races where she had an entry? And if her horse won the race? She'd nearly pop with glee, and I love that, the humanity of being delighted.

I watched your video which was very good as always, but I have to give you a thumbs down for disrespecting Princess Catherine. She's never been Kate in the eyes of her family or her husband or herself, and she hasn't been a Middleton since getting married over 11 years ago. Unless you're prepared to call her husband Prince Willy, you need to go with Princess Catherine and not Kate Middleton.

@ 2:47 I watched that clip a few times and the reason the Princess of Wales jolted her shoulder back when the Prince of Wales touched it, was because she was talking to a lady and making the person feel like her and the princess were the only ones in the room listening to what they have to say, (like they are the only 2 people there) making them comfortable and if the prince had his hand on her like that PDA, then lady may not feel like she had the Royals full uninterrupted attention. The British Royals are known for making people feel listened too and Williams hand would have been a distraction to her and the lady she was talking too………. Also another reason might have been that the princess may have been taking too much time, lost in conversation and the prince was touching her to remind her to move things along, and nonverbally letting her know he is dominant over her and this includes how she spends her time, he is alpha/head of the family because for a brief second they (prince and princess) make eye contact to know William is not joking about that! One last thing (sorry for the long comment) a lot of couples in the United States will have a “rescue me, or get me out of here, it’s awkward” signals, so who knows maybe William saw the conservation was awkward and going no where so he touched her shoulder to give her a way out of the interaction…… anyone else have thoughts about that?????😊

i wish i could look as "awkward" as Princess Catherine in my least awkward moments!! haha. what on earth is this about really? the commentary doesn't fit the circumstances much to my eye and ear yet the only thing i think was mean, truly ,was the last clip about the school children and christmas tree's, "...she can get the attention of the whole world but not a few school children." um, idk how to compete with Christmas tree's when it comes to innocent young kids and merriment. i'm sure she was happy they had fun despite any photo op or disengagement, she is always there to serve the children and event, not herself. It sounds petty and cruel to point this out as an embarrassing moment. GROSS!! otherwise, i love all the clips, she is heaven on earth to see and applaud you putting all of it together for us to enjoy in successsion. XO, S

I’ve never seen Catherine look awkward. If the wind catches her dress and blows it up some at least she has the legs for it. Lol, there are many pictures of her with children and usually they’re very happy around her. Put any kids in a Christmas Tree farm with lights and decorations and the only person that’s going to excite them is Santa. She’s lovely and I’m an American so it’s not really important to me. Hadn’t paid much attention until H&M started their attacks on the RF. He sure has made them look good.

James, taxpayers of the UK and Commonwealth contribute around two dollars each per year into the Sovereign Grant. In Canada that would be the cost of an annual chocolate bar if it's on sale. The Monarchy brings into the UK approximately 1.5 billion dollars a year. I'd say that's a good return.
@CuriousCanuck No, we don't. We pay less than two dollars each year for their security. The SG is taken from the money the monarch signs over to the government every year from the Crown Estate. That means that the monarchy is providing the money to support themselves. Not the taxpayer.
@@Hopefully.2024 Thanks for your reply. I'm more confused than ever but did have another look. I checked several sources and the Sovereign Grant is funded by the taxpayer. As you say the monarch and other royals pay tax to the government so they would be the ultimate taxpayers.
I couldn't find very much on security costs as some websites state giving out that information could be a security threat. Security funding doesn't come from the Sovereign Grant so it stands to reason that costs are paid by the taxpayer as you say.

When you married, you became Mrs.(husband's last name) The royal family are Windsor, so if you don't want to use her title then you show her respect by calling her Mrs.windsor. you only shorten a given name if it is a friend or the person you are speaking about has made it verbally clear that they prefer to be called by the shortend version of their name. Show respect and manners.
