In this video I show you how to frame a baseball jersey for a lot less money by using a shadow box and pining the jersey to felt. Nice job, just what I was looking for.
For all the people that are complaining about pinning it, you should look into using acid-free foamboard. The foamboard inside the jersey will keep it tight/flat and if cut correctly, retain the natural contour of the jersey (no hanger bumps in shoulders or drooping around the pins aka hills and valleys). The sleeves will be pinned, but they can be done from the inside of the sleeve so no pins will ever be visible. Some people cut the foamboard the full length of jersey so only pins are in sleeves and some people cut them short and fold the bottom around to the back and pin the bottom to the back of the foamboard. You can then just sit in the shadow box, no additional pinning/hanger required. Cost less than $10 to do.

It is. When I tried to get it framed regular it was close to $500. This way is wayyyyy cheaper and cooler in my opinion.

For heavier jersey, like lacrosse, would you recommend the hanger over pinning?
Well, they come with a hanger, so you could hang it first and see how it looks and then pin it if you don't like it. You can always switch it if needed even after pinning.
