Ah so many close ups of Jimmy's fingers at least they're all healthy. Every time I see them I think of the ring avulsion pictures I googled after watching his explanation of his injury and I throw up a little in my mouth

hanna thompson It's funny how everyone googles stuff they're warned not to google haha. And yeah, avulsion basically means "tear". Needless to say, one can understand the difference between cutting a slice of meat and tearing it into two pieces.
On a relatively unrelated note, it's a little sad that graphic imagery like that is almost an everyday occurrence in war torn regions..

Interesting that male comedians are rarely ripped apart for the way they look but Amy has to deal with all the snide remarks about her appearance. She's a comedian, not a model. If people don't like her work or find her unfunny, that's fine, but criticizing her for something completely out of her control, like her face, is truly messed up. As for her body, it's HER BODY (what a concept) and her weight is no one else's business. I personally find it refreshing to see a more relateable woman make it in Hollywood.

Yeah, and at SNL Tracy Morgan took him aside and demanded he never do it again in one of his sketches, and shockingly Jimmy never again broke in a sketch he and Tracy shared. He deliberately laughs so loudly and often to cynically draw attention to himself. Always has.

It's like an entire bit, or multiple jokes in a row that work off each other. I remain skeptic about those joke stealing accusations usually - because who knows, two people could've came up with the same joke - but it's pretty undeniable in this circumstance.
