I don't mean to toot my own horn but so did I, for the most part. All of this was so self evident it astonishes me how many people were blindsided by the way the events played out. Tim Dillon obviously has his finger on the pulse and an ear to the ground like so many of us. It's great that people with platforms into the mainstream are voicing the concerns of so many who are forced to be silent. The way i see it, things are still going to get worse from here, but, there is a silver lining in that times are changing and the pendulum is swinging. So it will still take the timeline of many years but in the long run, the future looks bright, it's just a bleak cloud that's raining on us for now. I am ever faithful in human progress.
Black men were calling out BLM from its inception and were called “sellouts” and all type of other names by black women and LGBT to shut them up. Most black men that I knew asked a simple question “what is this group, that profits off the notarized death of unarmed black men, doing to help the demographic(black men) which caused it to gain support?”. Nothing. Now no one knows what BLM has done with the millions they’ve garnered. Biggest scam of 2020 that didn’t benefit black people at all.
Why does it feel like Tim's views are 500% more nuanced and insightful then the actual thing we call news and he is a comedian? Like it's happened the complete role reversal has taken place .. News is more Comedy then Comedy. Comedy is more News then News
I've noticed this with the political commentators I gravitate towards on CZcams- Steven Crowder, Russell Brand, Jimmy Dore, Dave Rubin, and Joe Rogan have all, at the very least, cut their teeth on stand-up comedy, and yet I take them all seriously as political commentators. It's not a matter of agreeing with everything they say; I disagree with practically all of Jimmy Dore's policy positions, but I still believe he has an honest and rational account of the facts. As for the po-faced, self-serious avatars of corporate media- Anderson Cooper, Rachel Maddow, Brian Williams, &c.- it is evident they will repeat any lie their controllers demand they repeat, no matter how glaring and ridiculous the lie. Generally, how seriously I take someone is in inverse proportion to how seriously they seem to want to be taken.
@@DeflatingAtheism your last sentence is a conclusion I've came to with a lot of media. Similarly, no one that we want to see as president has the desire to run. It's a real knife fight out there.
I feel like it has more to do with the fact that news stations are becoming increasingly narrow minded in their assumptions of political and non political matters, allowing little room for freedom of thought or alternative opinions. Podcasts that are self sufficient (no outside funding therefore no outside narrative to be pushed) like for example Joe Rogan Podcast and Tim Dillon are the freedom of thought that we so desperately crave. It is unusual to expect a populace to just believe everything that's been pushed by one source, (the media like news stations) and so as any person who really cares to know the truth they will look for more than one source of information. These podcasts are untouched by the massive money machines and as such have a great freedom to speak out what they do and do not know. The internet is slowly becoming the board for freedom of thought and discussion instead of our news stations like they should be, and I think this is a great thing, instead of being forced to only hear what you can which is through television, the Internet is truly a blessing. Without it we would be stuck trusting everything the government says, now we have the ability to find alternative opinions and news.

Are you trolling. He made his points and gave his two cents. This isnt a quarterly report, its commentary on a unscripted podcast. Listen to it again and actually pay attention.
He has to talk this way because it’s on YT and they will pull the plug on you in a heartbeat if you tell the truth about anything. I’m just amazed there isn’t a Wikipedia article above the comment section, extolling the virtues and unimpeachable integrity of BLM.
Tim keeps astonishing me with his foresight. It became real, everything.

Tragedy is the greatest source of Comedy. Or is it Vice verse

Tim dares to think beyond the mindless establishment rhetoric. But he's only scratching the surface. It's a start, though.

You’ve clearly never listened to Tim 😂
All of this started as Occupy Wall Street died out. Think about that.
I was in that movement. The big difference was the age group that attended 30s-60s. These protests are like age 13-45
18-30 year olds that have no idea what they’re marching for and who it’s helping.
Occupy was started by the CIA
Very true
Yeah, unarmed black people have been getting killed by the police long before that. Think about that.
