    Inky’s purpose on earth was to motivate others. His mentality will help a lot more people in life than football ever could. I listen to him every morning before I go to work.

    Inky Johnson is going to be fine since he has something you can't buy regardless of how many dollars u got in your bank account, he has strength of character. This is the moral of this story - stay true to yourself regardless of the odds against you

    Wow so impacting. You know what I don't get, as much as this gave me goosebumps to hear, I have a voice telling me the entire speech "this does NOT apply to you and you will never make it or silence me, no matter how hard you try." I really need to get that voice out of my head, don't know how

    So annoying hearing everyone say that they are the "hardest worker in the room" type of bs.

    • @troy2192
      @troy2192 Před 7 lety +3

      Miles the mentality of a winner is exactly that. if you go somewhere be it the gym or work. if you go through an entire day and leave after and think I could of worked harder. inside of yourself you have to know you are not preparing to succeed. you are just floating through the days. inky Johnson came from that absolute bottom at 5 foot nine inches 135 pounds. making into college already seems impossible. He was the hardest worker in the room.

    • @StoicMiles
      @StoicMiles Před 7 lety

      I understand that it may have some truth too it. You should aspire to be that but literally everyone says that. So many people on instagram captioning that bullshit when they for one, look like shit, and secondly they aren't actually doing shit. Its just an overused line and at first it was a good line but then it was ruined by people that aren't actually working hard but want to portray an image that doesn't line up with who they are.

    I don't understand the moral of his story, can someone please explain it to me
    I've always believed that hard work ALWAYS results in the desired outcome, and I feel Inky was "cheated" the way he didn't get to the NFL. I watched the last part a few times but am struggling to understand the moral.
    I understand the whole " The result of the outcome" was the people he inspired, but he himself didn't get the NFL place he deserved....

    • @patrickryandrums
      @patrickryandrums Před 7 lety

      Because he gave it all he got when he went for that tackle...It's a sign of perserverance.

    • @ProjectElevateHD
      @ProjectElevateHD Před 7 lety +1

      It could be that when you see someone work so hard - you want them to succeed, and so I feel hella upset that even though he gave it all he got (respectable - no doubt) he still didn't get that NFL place he deserved...
      And supposedly the justification is at least he gave it all he had, which is supposed to motivate people.
      I'm a sucker for happy endings, and so I was really hoping to hear how he somehow made it to the NFL in the end.

    • @MulliganBrothers
      @MulliganBrothers  Před 7 lety +6

      he's also saying that in the end he still succeeded with his work ethics as he has helped many people and also become a success through adversity.

      If you aim for the stars and hit the moon you are still pretty damn successful and it is still impressive. He didn't achieve his original dream, but his hard work and determination opened other paths to him and despite what happened to him he still managed to achieve something great in his life rather than becoming a drug dealer like his uncles. That is my take on it anyway.
