You see, the campaign is actually a simulation based on taylors experiences. The player plays the role of john taylor, and taylor is actually played by someone named dylan stone I know it's confusing and stupid but that's what the game actually is

When I first beat this and saw my dude say he was taylor I thought maybe it was Taylor who died in one of the missions and was stuck in the frozen forest and when I purge the dni it deleted the dnis security feature and my mind allowing Taylor to take over... Either way I love scary shit but corvus creeped me the fuck out 😂

I forgot Christopher Meloni was the bad guy in this.
Taylor wasn’t the bad guy. The real bad guy was Dylan Stone and his squad, under Taylor’s Memories. Player never meets them, so everything from 54 Immortals to “Taylor (really Stone)” Dying was a simulation.

I think the audio is cut because the final voice heard is the player's voice, not taylor, saying that he is "taylor," which I think is a mistake by the developers, since the players body died a long time ago and his consciousness only lived on in the DNI/Corvus simulation. So yeah wtf, if you're going to actually be taylor at least get the right voice actor jesus christ

It's a long story, I highly recommend you look deeper into the story. It's definitely worth it.
I don't get the ending
+brick demolisher It was all a dying dream. You were experiencing a corrupted version of what Taylor actually went through during his hunt for Dylan Stone.
Your character actually died after the first mission, of complications during the surgery.
At the end, the player says "Taylor" because you were, in essence, Taylor all along.
+The CONQUEST maybe it was a way of helping the character find peace, proving that even when he died, he wasn't a failure.
+Twocoolman115 It was Corvus looking for a meaning to his existence, that's why he "died" in the end, because he was just a glitch.
