This is one of the few games that has more than met my expectations. It feels like a faithful continuation of Zoo Tycoon from 2003 with everything I expected from a modern rendition of a zoo building game. If only Pokemon and Call of Duty for example could follow in the foot steps.

It basically is about trying things without the barriers. And using alot of backdrop voliage 🤷♂️
400m² is for 1 animal. However, you can click the option button above the land requirements for more animals plus juveniles.
Your frontal barrier is very low so animals that can jump very high could get over it. You can work around it by making the river/water directly behind the side facing the guests so that the steep drop adds to the natural barrier's height.

when i do hard shelters with rocks the animals don't recognize it as shelter though...

@@Danamic Ja het helpt enorm, thanks! Ik struggle alleen nog een beetje met de shelters. Ik probeerde vanmiddag een soort huisje te bouwen waar ze dus binnen in konden, maar dat dak kreeg maar niet echt mooi voor elkaar.. Maar deze video heeft iig al flink geholpen!

Is there any mod of placing animals inside like zt2 game , without cages or structures around here mate ? Coz I love Nature and Wildlife and I wanted to give a nice scene of it like a true Wildlife without zoo assets

You could build your enclosures with null-barriers and you can make them as big as you want. The null barriers need natural objects or ditches/slopes to make sure the animals dont get out. Is that what youre looking for?
@@Danamic Hi mate and thanks for the quick response first, Hmm, Yes that is the one part of my concerne, the second is " no buildings at all" if there is a mod on that. Like in far cry , or zt2 that you xan easily watch real documentary scenes without the meaning of guests and zoo scenes. I know it is a bit demanding from the moment it is about " zoo, - planet zoo" game, But , God, I really enjoy its Nature and other climate assets and once I created real Nature scenes of planet zoo wihtout placing animals that I wanted to, due to the reason I just wanted to see Nature and Wildilife on its real world and without structures I cannot place tigers or wolves deers and lots of incredible wildlife stuff. Null obj and the 3D modeling commands is something that really get away the limits of place and screen capitation, but still.. if there is null on animal structures tha would be so Cool too!
I totally agree with you! It would be great to be able to make documentaries and stuff in the game. I havent heard about any mods that make this possible. I think most of the modders are making new animals and stuff. If you stumble upon mods who make this able, please let me know!! 😍
@@Danamic Of course mate! Have a nice planet zoo creating time! The only I heard about modders is that half of them are the same modders from zt2 ulitmate Edition and remakes of them are now in planet zoo sytes which make is so awesome coz the incredible animal and nature remakes on zt2 in coorporation with planet zoo make so prommising and wonderful events inside this game!!

ONE Cassowary needs 400sq.m. But what if you have 2 adults and they have 6 little babies running around? There is the ability there to increase or decrease the number of animals you want the pen to hold. If you plan on having, say, 3 adults and up to 8 babies, then you should set that number accordingly. You'll find you need a little bit more than 400sq.m. Also, that is a MINIMUM requirement. You should, and this is even one of the tips on loading, give them a bit more room than min. requirement if you want to see that at their natural best.

You mean like floor building pieces? Thats no possible. You can cover up a path with floor pieces though
when i put the foraging thing into the ground like that it flattens the ground around it.. How do I stop it from doing that, so I can hide it more into the ground.?
I think you can change it in the right lower corner, in the settings?
Yes, in settings, you uncheck the "Flatten Terrain" checkbox.

Great tutorial, but it doesn’t really suit the cassowary as it is known to be very dangerous, vicious and territorial, and the exhibit isn’t suited for an animal of that safety risk. Just saying lol
