Do you think starting a small scale furniture business (online, mainly side hustle, importing from other countries) in a low income country where internet shopping just started growing could be profitable? What type of furniture would you recommend to start with? small , medium , large size?
Travel to the country and ask the locals, door to door.

great video, i had a quick question i want to start a dropshipping store with a partner and wanted it to be revolved around lighting products such as chandeliers, Hanging and ceiling lights
Pendants , floor and desk lamps etc.. what do you think about this type of store and do you think its a good idea we want it to be luxury oriented so we can make sure the margins are worth it enough so pretty high ticket items targeting wealthier demographics.

Hi Anton- it’s like the universe answered me today! Ha! I have been wanting to do a furniture niche for a very loooong time! I love to decorate- infact I’m known for it in my town as I decorate my homes in a very high level. But I am not a decorator- but maybe I should be. Is there samples of local wholesalers I could review? Many of my pieces have been custom made. I assume the wholesalers only sell what they design? Could offering free virtual deco tips help in the sales process? Thanks! Been watching for awhile just scared to pull the trigger.

Hi Kris, That's awesome! So our main business model is selling products that are already manufactured and in a warehouse in the states waiting to be shipped.
With that being said, you can certainly private label products and drop ship them. This works very well for custom made products.

And yes, I do think offering free consultations (even paid) to share deco tips would help. However, if you were going to go that route I'd recommend sticking to premium products at premium price points to make the most out of your time.
Hi Anton, I am currently dropshipping a product, that according to
aliexpress, takes around 7-15 days to deliver. The supplier has
thousands of orders and 4.8 Star reviews. I see now that two weeks after my customers ordered, the parcel is still stuck in China and I am
receiving customer complaints.
I have made a test order to myself before selling it and everything was fine. Have you had this problem
before and do you have some advice?
Hi Paul, I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with this. I do not drop ship from China for many reasons, but delayed shipping is a big one.
My advice would be to be totally up front with your customer and offer them a full refund if they're not willing to wait. Refunds aren't fun but it's better than losing a merchant account.

@@kreative22672 yeh. I feel the same way. But i mean its already cheaper than stuff in the US cause its in china. So they probably mark their stuff up 1000s of dollars. It could definitely make u some money if u know what you’re doing.

Hey Michael, I actually have a video coming out Thursday on this exact topic (be sure to sub to the channel so that you can see the entire thing).. but the short of it is that we offer free curbside shipping and then allow our customers to upgrade to White Glove delivery for an additional fee.

5:40 why look at wholesale pricing if we're talking about dropshipping? all you have to worry about is shipping, no?
Wouldn’t you worry because, depending on what you sell it for and what you find it for the difference made up would be your profit.
