Lighting the woodgas generator

Lighting up the gasifier with a piece of newspaper.I most often use a small propane torch but lately am trying to move away from gasoline or propane.

It was plain old newspaper but the draw from the fan really gets the charcoal going fast.The wood I use is 1x2 and 2x2 chunks cut up on a chopsaw.
