First video on the Golf MK8 Steering Wheel with a haptic and gesture based button set! Do let me know what you think about this wheel design in the comments below. Couple of things after 3-4 months of usage. 1. The wheel feels perfect on the MQB platform with gestures being integrated across the button set. 2. Buttons can either be swiped or clicked like before on the previous kind of buttons. Each click receives a haptic click, similar to Force touch on Apple MacBook trackpads. 5. Can be configured to work with older PQ25 cars. 6. Paddle shifters are not backlit on this MK8 Wheel platform, which is a Stepdown Vs previous GTI wheels. 7. @@Pushkar2228 it's nice. Do consider.
Are these original oem or cheep quality product from china?
I source most VAG parts from Europe. That being said, there are quite a few MK8 wheels manufactured by VW China and contrary to stereotypes, they are not cheap quality by any standard. VW China makes some really good parts provided you have a reliable source not involved in parts interchange or shady behaviour.

Some people straight away say that these with touch panels are cheap and one with physical buttons are original poland😀
@@rakeshbalamkar3403 no. VW China makes both, physical and capacitive touch ones. Similarly, both kinds exist in Europe. They have different airbag designs and wiring schematics.
