- This was really cool to make, I still can't believe this actually worked, You need to survive the initial spell with a piece of equipment with a endure type factor on it, have a weapon with the revenge factor, have the break damage limit battle skill at level 10, and once you are hit by the spell that deals 99999 damage, simply attack the boss and you will deal 99999 damage.
This is much more easily achievable by simply using a megabomb though. - Hry
Wow... I wasn't expecting this many views and likes for a video I made on the spur of the moment, all I can really say is thanks.
Though I admire the thought and skill put into this, I wonder if this can be easily achieved by crafting a megabomb with Lv 6 Machinist and using it on him during fight 1. Or much earlier at Lasgus Mountains on Zinae who has 232k hp.
@@LunaticValkyrie I just tested that for you, it can 100% be done that way, @reed3863 confirmed you get the achievement doing it that way too.
That's such an easier, no brainer way to do it, credits to you, and thanks to @reed3863 for confirming that you also get the achievement for doing 99999 dmg in one hit with the megabomb.
OR.... Full credits to @LunaticValkyrie , just use a megabomb on an enemy with at least 199k health, though you still need the surpass damage limit combat skill.
Someone suggested me to be in universe mode and fight a specific enemy and use that bomb which halves their hp. Some enemies in the final dungeon in galaxy mode have more than 200k hp, so i just used that item there while in galaxy mode. Still got the achievement for dealing 99,999 dmg.
Ok sweet, so it does give the achievement for dealing 99999 dmg in 1 hit that way, I'm definitely interested in what a speedrun of this looks like now.
Still waiting for Vegh's Bloody Armor suggestion.
Damn thats a name i havent heard for a long time. Is he still around?
@@mehmetertas7947 Yup. Still posting the same lines as he did in the gamefaqs forum. You'll find him in multiple CZcams comments section
He’s been commenting on one of my videos lol
@@JRPG-Mickey I'm assuming in your FFVII videos?
The Beginner Tips Star Ocean video
so in summary. Revenge + endure and max damage break
Sorry for the late response, but yes, basically that, the only real complicated aspect to this is getting the book to learn the "surpass damage limit" combat skill, which requires you to deal 40 million total damage, which honestly isn't so hard if you spend 20 minutes fighting enemies in the Hoffman Ruins dungeon.
I thought I was overleveled but bruh sitting at level 80 at this point in the game lol. Did the same thing I did right? Maxed out training and just left it on? If you turn it off the game gets super easy again so you pretty much have to leave it on, which in turns earns you beacoup XP which again feeds into the overleveling.
That's actually true, it does feed into overleveling, but I simply wanted more sp and bp from levels than stats.
@@GoldenLeonis Oh if you wanted SP and BP then use engligthenment and turn off training. Get scouting up a little and then do group fights of 5. You'll get 15 to 25 BP/SP per engagement without the overleveling.
You might have already known this but if you didn't, there you go :)
@@XultanisDragon I knew but thanks anyway, extra levels still help a ton for extra sp and bp, scouting to look for enemies and bodyguard nets you a ton of sp, bp and levels too.
When you realise that the challenge missions are not just achievements, but missions with rewards lol, and that you could have been exceeding 9999 a week ago lol...
lol yeah, it's definitely one of the many reasons I love this remake.
