the guy who composed this is Tsunku, the producer of the idol project Hello Project and the idol group Morning Musume! He has some amazing hits from the early 2000s with that group. It's such a shame I havent seen anyone else talking about him

I really wish the English version had that second verse. Seems to be a theme with rhythm heaven lyrical songs. They make an English version, but only give the Japanese version the second verse.

funnily enough, tsunku produced music for canary club (the group singing this) as well as berryz koubou. their music sounds so similar i thought this was berryz koubou at first ! and they've done a couple of the anime endings for inazuma eleven
@@idliketobeagummybear I always thought that 1:11 sounds like Berryz Koubou song titled Seishun Bus Guide but I just realized that this game released on 2008 in Japan while the BK song released on July 2009. So technically BK song sounds like this song.

Eh, English version is better in my opinion. Especially weird when they lapse into English words during this song, and other Japanese songs.
Some Japanese words branch off from English in a way. That's why they sometimes say a random but fitting English word here and there in songs often.
