I’ve been trying to make my sketchbooks more enjoyable for me to look through cause a lot of times I hated going through them and felt embarrassed that I showed people them. But I started watching your videos and implemented various things you did and I love my sketchbooks more now!
one change that helped me a lot was to stop showing people my sketchbook!
I used to show my sketchbook work to everyone all the time and it stressed me out. I entirely stopped that and for a while my sketchbooks were like my little secrets and I only posted like 1 out of 15 sketches for my friends to see, and if anyone wanted to see more they'd have to watch me flip through in person.
That made the whole thing so much more special for me and it helped me to see it as a thing that is just for my eyes and I can choose who to be vulnerable with regarding the book, and now I am so much more comfortable with my book and the way I chose to share what's inside!

THATS SO RELATABLE, I do be collecting wrappers and stuff that should be in the trash
Same TvT but I do find them useful like cardboard
@@thebloxyduo I have a trash folder with just tons of wrappers plus I have like thin cardboard that I make stats out of! It’s just so fun to add plus it makes your sketchbook thicker
i also have a fear of directly drawing into my sketchbook incase i ruin it , but recently i started sketching in public and kinda forced myself to use a brush pen to build up confidence and for me it is working! Though drawing in public is something im not doing again

It’s almost like you can read my mind lol, I was just trying to figure out how to make my pages more fun and “quirky”.

if you draw something you dont like in the sketchbook you can cover it up with different paper and thats how I made one of my favourite pages in my sketchbook

As of lately the main thing that's been helping me draw constantly is fanart and redraws. My creativity streak is sorta burnt out as of rn so fanart has been my outlet. I also had a serial habit of doing cutouts for a couple years. This video was definitely helpful when it comes to unique ideas so thanks!!!

Those were very cool tips, I’ll definitely use those! ( Here’s a tip if you need it 💕) even if you do mess up something what helps is basically getting a pen and squiggling all over the part you messed up ( for me it’s usually the face) and add a few squiggles to the background, it helps make it look cool but messy.

TYSM!! I did that page a while ago, but I think I used dark red cardboard for the base, drew the intestines basically just sausages going in different directions until I filled the page lol, outlined them and filled the gaps with black, lightly went along the edges of the intestines with black for shading, then did the highlight with a white pencil as well as outlined some parts with it, and then added some red glitter in some spots, I think that's all :>

The pets you doodled is so cute😭😭 I really want to draw something but im very bad at drawing(i know practise help) I have 2 sketchbooks(one is finished and one is new) I almost never use it heh.. I want to get better at drawing pets and humans but I dont know what to start with, and with anatomy i practised for 2 days 😅 (i had a goal for practising antomy for 30 days) I only lasted 2 days and than I gave up... Well I love your artstyle😊
