    Game is technically beaten after defeating Mr. Sandman but I fought two more fights to show that there is more. After which the opponents get tougher strategies and it goes on till you lose. -

      And the fact that he’s way more intimidating in the Wii version. Being huge, makes everything shake with big foot steps, destroys a building in anger, literally beaten all other boxers and nasty temper. His 2nd fight literally resembles the dream bout with Mike Tyson/Mr. Dream from the NES version.

    • @MeatEatingVegan777
      @MeatEatingVegan777 Před 5 lety +7

      Nintendo innovates in some ways and brings us fantastic games. However, their hardware has been about a generation behind since the wii. The wii's graphics were almost the same as the gamecube, with some advances. Though, not enough for a next generation console at the time. Graphics aren't everything, but there's reasons why Nintendo is not often considered when it comes to getting a new console. Their hardware and graphics are often as advanced as the past generation. So why spend sooo much money on a new console with hardware and graphics that have been surpassed by the competition? (I don't necessarily think that way. I love Nintendo, but I see their faults.) Also, lack of mature games and lack of third party support doesn't help. Luckily, the switch has been turning things around for Nintendo. Someday, I hope they realize that advanced hardware actually does matter. Their many popular series are great, but it's not enough to get the interest of past Nintendo fans that have moved on, or people that are curious about owning a Nintendo console, but aren't convinced as to why they should.

    Bald Bull: Same as Glass Joe, but his nose is slightly raised, just like Super Punch-Out for SNES

    I used to play this in college. Missed many a class when they installed this in the student union. Gets very repetitive after you’ve gone through the challengers several times. Sometimes they’d get tougher and faster, but eventually you could be patient and anticipate their punches and just sit back and counter punch. Got to the point where I could turn it over a million. Very upset that scores only went up to 6 digits, and then looped back to 0. Had to get it close to a million and then lose so that my score was as close to a million as possible without going over. Best tip I got that allowed me to beat the game, set the joystick up or down, and then leave it in a neutral position. Made it so that I could duck their punches quicker.

      Yeah, on Nintendo DS, Mike Tyson's Punch-out sucks. I think that the DS is more powerful than the arcade machine. The problem is the most of the peoples that knows original Punch-out doesn't own or do not play portable video games consoles. So Nintendo probably lose money with it.

      +john smith Nintendo never put up superior arcade games! They just give you the inferior version of the games via ports from their consoles! Damn Shame knowing how technology advance and Nintendo can give us the arcade version with no problem but want to give us version of ports from consoles that we know is inferior.. not talking about the games that was consoles only! I can live with consoles only games in which I love some of them by the way!
