Yep, pretty great blaster to use as a backup (I run mine in the Little Valentine blaster sleeve). Combine the Mono-Rail and Blaster Sleeve, and you have a ready to grab backup that can be reloaded on the fly with scavenged darts. Just fantastic!
Likely that you bent the dart tooth. On the Mono-Rail (I've bought two already, soon to grab a third), the mechanism relies a lot on the dart getting seated properly by the dart tooth. Bend the tooth and you'll have lots of jams.
Other than that, don't try to prime the thing upside down. That can cause a few misfeeds, but not too many.
All in all, you likely had either a defective one, or you bent the dart tooth and didn't realize it. Try another at some point!

The monorail is amazing when it works but its really easy to jam. As long as you are paying attention its not too difficult to not jam

So, I don't see anyone else mentioning it, and I dont know if you've learned this in the past two years, but the Raptorstike priming bar actually /is/ removable. You just have to hold the ends steady and unscrew one of the grips.

I actually lost the little metal thing to cock the raptor strike, and in many failed attempts to use it I broke many pencils and paint brushes

With the bolt handle on the raptor strike you can actually in twist it off so they can come off

The monorail blaster is not the only in line magazine, there is the fusefire (which is the only vortex blaster that I find descent) and the Artemis.
+Wapiti those do not fire darts.

it is not inline with the barrel, it is perpendicular, if it was any internal magazine I would have spoke about the magnus, kronos and the starwars's blaster

Hey Captain, I've always wanted to do a few basic mods without damaging my precious blasters. Which blaster should I start with and what are some mods that I should do?
What blasters do you have?
Captain Xavier I have strongarms, triads, retaliators, a hammershot, stryfes and a roughcutt.
Well there exist springs or upgrade kits for the first 4. Those are easy enough and not too expensive. The Stryfe is more complicated unless all you do is use better batteries. The Roughcut is much trickier, I would leave it alone.
Captain Xavier What about brass barreling? Is it easy or do I need more experience?
Lord Drac tried upgrade the Raptorstrike. Once he got it apart, he found out that it's nothing but a Retaliator reshell.

i watch some of yours old vids the star wars psa i discovered there where couple of blaster you dont have so can you see you can find them (the blasters are the clone trooper dc-15a the captan rex blaster, jango waster 34 blasters and the new ones captan phasma blaster the resistance pistol )
I am creating a character and he uses a blaster. The character mainly fights supernatural/paranormal beings. What blaster do you suggest I give the character? I need something that can be holstered and preferably a Springer.

Chaylo, have you seen or tried the Powerball, the off brand Rival springer? I saw Brett run it in the last war. I doubt it'll need a K26 (that may actually be a downgrade, the spring is surprisingly beefy), but still, it's very very nice. I am absolutely in love with mine.

I have never tried. My guess is it would jam as they jam on regular darts...but it is worth a try...

Well, I have a Caliburn, and I have "sniper" attachments for EIR and my Mazooka. I do have plans for a more conventional looking "sniper" blaster though. Give me time. :D

What is the best way to upgrade a stryfe
Battery packs
Fang motors, 18 gauge wire, 3s lipo, artifact red cage, artifact gen 2 wheels, cherry micro switch, full rewire!
Casey's Comics the gen 2 wheels are not the best but that is a preference thing I guess. And you can get a proto cage from black steel props having the Same dimensions of the Drs cages but can be clear and have LEDs if you wish to show those off. Fang motors are not the absolute best but easiest in the installation to performance, just because there is such things as smart brush less motors that are absolutely amazing for any hobby with motors needed.
Brushless motors upvoted! :-) I’d like to go that route myself, although it does cost more and requires additional pieces such as ESC boards...
