When you used Chimney Rock as a reference it got my attention. I live in Rutherford County in North Carolina and Chimney Rock is in my area I live about 25 minutes from my house!!

Thats great, it must be amazing to actually know the area in a story, I mean, I live in London, England and its often depicted in books, but I was born and brought up about halfway between Aberdeen and Inverness in Scotland, I would imagine, if a story was set in that area, it would bring a new dimension to the story. Youre lucky!

Scariest part of this ‘story’: the cult behavior is real. Makes me think of The Twilight Zone episode of “He’s Alive”.
Why would dude have walked almost a MILE away to piss in the middle of the night? Yeah right.
Also we have a couple places in my county but the scariest is a Church that's haunted. It has no power to it and is locked tight. People I know says that they have been there at the day and can hear singing inside the church and look inside of the window and no one is in there. I went to our local college for video production. A girl I knew did a video for a project around Halloween and said that the singing was so loud but the camera didn't pick up the sound when she was editing her video. My wife had a experience at that church and she still have a problem telling her story. I can feel something just looking at her face. I see fear in her face!!

Yeah, I wouldnt have even considered going on holiday with two radically opposed groups of people or couples that dont get on. You have enough crap to deal with in life without taking it on holiday with you. I dont know if it makes for a good background story either, as, just having got to the 1st Shudder advert and already reached my tolerance for listening to bickering and backbiting I cant see me going the distance on this.
