I use a cargo van for my buisness. I drive a Chevy Express 2500 I can fit a stand on mower in it and all my other tools. Ive been doing lawn care for 10 years now and I still love doing it. Maybe in another 10 years I'll retire and do cab driving lol.

When we knocked a hole in my white enclosed trailer I bought a piece of sheet metal from Lowe’s and painted it white and used self tappers to hold it on with a little silicone. Looks great!

Ive put together about 5 of them you can do a motor swap in 2 hours and those old diesels never die you cant run them to fast and you dont have to wory about someone jackknifing yourtruck and trailer or gettin stuck at a dead end.

I run a 2017 NPR from super lawn trucks... I won’t ever go back to truck and trailer (still use trailer for debris) but a box truck is a total game changer

What do you think about putting in a small access door where the hole is in the box. I think you can buy a nice one with a frame you can rivet in. May be able to use to fill gas cans or access to things like string trimmer line or whatever. Nice truck.

Congrats bro, you're my motivation and I said the same thing. Why spend 60k for a box truck for a single crew? You have a diesel mechanic and I'm considering the same thing, not worried about the mileage, just need a clean, not broken down box truck... salute my brother....go army.... Since you are in an enclosed truck.. I suggest switching over to the VP style gas cans ( although there is a better can out. For cheaper... but still same basic design) and get a holder/rack that holds 2 ( $35) and mount it to the wall. Cheaper than sure can and I love em... and or mount one of those big gas tanks up on a shelf w/metal brackets. As for the outside piece... go to a sign store and get some of that plastic/aluminum stuff... and silicone/rivet it to the truck. Solid patch.tailgate springs you can get off eBay... it I was closer I’d help out with any welding you might need.

Nice truck. I've been running a similar setup for 3 yrs now, I have a 2005 npr with 16-foot box. I'm having a receiver hitch put on in case I need to pull a trailer.

Love the new Trail Boss👍 My 1st box truck was a 95 Chevy Tiltmaster, and had to put a little work into it. Used it for 13 yrs, and had good service with it, except for a transmission. The one I have now (2014 ecodiesel) got from someone going out of biz with only 14,000 miles. Bought it half price of a new one. The deals are out their, just have to look. Good luck in making it your own, and try not to scratch the Trail Boss✌️

Your stand on blower is gonna look sweet on the “leaf trailers” I am developing. Yep.. you can put your big 3300, or stand on blower, 2 backpack blowers, hydraulic dump, options for hydraulics on back door, and side ramp... both light, and easy moved by hand. Tow nicely behind the box truck.

You will use this truck just the same as a new one plus less emissions junk. I am currently at 4 mowing crews and I pay top dollar for the ol 7.3 power stroke trucks. They have lasted years beyond what I ever thought. I have a 500,000 mile truck that goes out every day.

DO NOT put them on a machine!! 🤦🏻♂️🤪... congrats on the truck. Some paint , new vinyl graphics, lil work, racks, centerfolds taped up in the back... ya know... everything ya need in a box truck in Georgia. Just please don’t leave your blower sitting on the ramp, and your brute trash can bout falling out of the truck. It seems every box truck in Georgia has to have at least one of these “things” going on. Ole Tony Bass, with super Lawn Trucks, is right down the road from me... kinda. But, he used to own a big landscaping company here in Macon... then developed that ramp/door thing (12k) and a bunch of other stuff, yet he still has the cheapest racks IN the truck. I don’t know why he doesn’t use green touch stuff.. other than “it’s all locked up in the truck “ idea... and to generally save cost. I’m the only person in Macon that is running green touch anything, and the only person running a Z2 ... or any Ferris SRS series mower. Only seen like a isx800 size mower, with a Kia SUV pulling this tiny trailer full of stuff. Other than than it all scags or scags or gravely ... some John Deere and 2 handfuls of grasshoppahz. Maybe 7 Kubota ZD series....
