PSA: FOMO before Destiny 2 LIGHTFALL - Redbox Deepsight Weapons at HELM & Weapons that are Leaving

FOMO is still present in Destiny 2. Expansion content will stay, BUT SEASONAL CONTENT will be vaulted, meaning anything from "season of the X" help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/arti... and see www.bungie.net/en/Guide/dcv#e...
Once season 19 ends and the new DESTINY 2 expansion, LIGHTFALL begins, all weapons and seasonal vendors currently in the HELM will be gone.
Thankfully, we can now pick up 1 deepsight, redbox weapon, at EACH Seasonal Vendor, EACH NEW DAY (DAILY BASIS). So it's a good time to chat and make some recommendations.
This video contains ideas and a brief list of weapons to consider picking up before Destiny 2 LIGHTFALL releases.
So go get some weapon patterns and try rolling Umbrals for god roll Weapon Foundry weapons! - Hry
Additional Considerations:
Some ideas that I left out for timing reasons:
1. Tarnished Mettle (Season of Plunder) - Arc Scout - For those who like to stay at range, has some of the best perks (joltshot, explosive payload, demolitionist, rapid hit). This is a great alternative to Vouchsafe, Nightwatch, etc
2. Drang (Season of Haunted) - Very strong PVP sidearm that you can craft as opposed to playing Trials for Forgiveness or grinding other sidearms in Dares
3. Ogma Pulse Rifle (Omolon Weapon Foundry) - Unique perk combinations like Demolitionist+Wellspring, Adaptive Munition + Disruption Break
4. Fire and Forget (LFR from Season of Seraph) - If you don't have a LFR, this is a great alternative to grinding Duality for the Stormchaser; LFRs will receive a slight nerf in Season 20 but may still be viable. Because of the slight nerf and uncertainty with DPS meta, I didn't necessarily include it.

Just so ya know it won't work with the random focusing. Has to be a specific weapon focusing, meaning if you don't have that ssn pass can't do it.
Agree! If someone buys Witch Queen Deluxe Edition, start right now. He or she won't be able to grind everything.

I've been trying to complete this exotic quest for this dope machine gun but I'm a F2P player for now, is there any way I can grind or find one or do I just need to get lucky off engrams?

Also you should have mentioned piece of mind & drang 100% in the pvp section and tarnished mettle in pve, the best pve scout by far
You're right. I wanted to but tried to keep it short. Ever since Drang's zoom was moved back closer in line with other side arms I was a bit on the fence.

@@Splooth_Sleeping_Battery You need the vendor upgrade that allows you to get guaranteed red borders.
Apologies, should've mentioned this. One of the flaws with this system is Bungie is assuming you've made some decent progress on all these vendors. It's also an attempt to pull more current players back as opposed to pulling newer players into the game.

Anyone know a good umbral engram farm? I heard containment is best due to mob density
nightmare containment has a guarantee, but if you get tired of that Dares is a popular choice along with Heists. I've been able to get a good amount of Umbrals from Heists when I tried grinding for redbox weapons
