  • I continue to read Swan , which is about the first 21 years of Bree's life.
Black Bean Brownies with Toasted Pumpkin Seeds
1/3 cup of Rolled Oats, ground (Gluten Free Rolled Oats)
    1/4 cup cocoa powder
    3/4 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon sea salt
    1/2 cup maple syrup
    1/4 cup coconut oil
1 1/2 cup (14 ounce can) cooked black beans, drained and rinsed
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    3/4 cup nondairy chocolate chips
4 Tablespoons dry roasted pumpkin seeds (I have a video on this)
Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the ground rolled oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, sea salt. Transfer to a food processor, along with the maple syrup, coconut oil, black beans and vanilla extract and process until smooth.
Note: I actually just used a bullet blender to do this. I just did smaller amounts each time.
Once blender, transfer back to the mixing bowl and stir in 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips.
Grease a 9 x 9 inch baking pan with coconut oil, and spread the brownie batter inside. Spread the remaining chocolate chips and ground dry roasted pumpkin seeds on top and pat them down lightly into the brownies.
Bake the brownies for 20 to 25 minutes, then let them cool for at least 10 minutes before serving

I guess your audience is mostly women but as a man, whose interests are mainly engineering and politics, and who has watched your previous videos, I must say that your channel is very insightful. I deal with mostly corrupt and ingenious people, looking only to benefit themselves and often I lose hope in humanity. Channels like yours are refreshing. Thank you for being you and withstanding all the nastiness and maintaining integrity.

I'm a man too (a dad). My kid doesn't have any special needs, or anything. I think her channel's good for any parent to watch. She's just a wholesome, caring mom.

I'm so conflicted by your story. Your love for bree is so obvious.
You wanted her baptized, but you had an abortion? You moved heaven and earth to care for one child, but gave no chance at all to another?
I was hesitant to type it. I don't know why I did. But I had to say it.
It's just so incongruous. Don't worry about answering. I'm no one. I'm just so torn between your love and your actions and motives.
I know it's many decades later, and as the parent of a severely brain injured child I do understand. I really really do.
I'm sure you understand vaccines are deadly at this point, and you may very well regret aborting your baby. Times changes so many things. ❤️
