Thank you for coming back to Dimash!! If you are looking for a challenge run, then I suggest you check Dimash's "Sinful Passion". It's one of his most amazing performances and it's not just about a hard run, but there are actually a lot of different elements that he's putting on the table. It's really a vocalist's wet dream. "Hello" was a nice cover, but I don't think it had anything special to show apart from that crazy last part. "Sinful Passion" will amaze you from start to finish!! Btw, I think this is just a harmonic minor. Harmonic minors do indeed sound "arabic" and middle eastern music indeed has some different scales (like hijaz, usak etc), but I think this is just a harmonic minor. In Sinful Passion though, the run I'm mentioning is on a pentatonic scale and it's impossible for me to reproduce at the speed Dimash does it. Thanks again!!
Not arabic technique. arabs was learned this kind of styles from old Turkic tribes and Seljuks, Ottomans... This technique named "makam" or "mugam". It is used in singing, healing the illness, praying.
I don't think Hello was very challenging for him as a singer, so he had to add that beautiful run at the end. It's the best part of the song for me. 😂🤣 Please watch more! Olympico and Your Love was written specifically for his voice. Sinful Passion (No glitch) czcams.com/video/kLxCjIHhV-g/video.html The Love of Tired Swans (Russian) czcams.com/video/RGEIQ0J3epk/video.html Olympico (Italian) czcams.com/video/D6ISsKLrypM/video.html Love Is Like A Dream (Russian) czcams.com/video/xLEQzfqO_l0/video.html Diva Dance (from movie 5th Element) czcams.com/video/o5zMupUOgQo/video.html Your Love (English) czcams.com/video/a0yO7Sy9IcY/video.html
Talking of ethnic scales and runs, while Dimash's cover of Hello is impressive, in Sinful Passion he set new standards in singing. It was a turning point in his carreer for more than one reason, and everything he has done since then is based on the Sochi performance of Sinful Passion. Please look out for the "no glitch" video on CZcams since the one on Dimash's channel has a disturbing audio glitch right at the climax.
With a near 7 octave range (highest note in concert D8) the ability to sing in any musical style. Unbelievable vocal flexibility and breath control. He is simply in a class of his own, there is nobody else even close. I believe he'll go down in history as the greatest Ever! I think you should react to his "Arnau The Kinetic Voice" concert in front of 45,000 people it's on his own untube channel. If you do do 2 songs at a time, you'll be able to absorb the electric atmosphere. 😊🏴👍
Supported vocal range of 7 octaves: D1 in "Know/Ascolta La Voce", D8 in "Unforgettable Day". Proof here (subtitles included): czcams.com/video/Vj0-JJVgkXc/video.html
@@ju1ietta Please don't misuse the term of 'support'. Also that wasn't a D1... It was a growled D2. He's gone down to G#1 in one other performance though.
Thank you for your reaction. It is a "flute," but it is a traditional Kazakh flute called a sybyzgy. He uses a lot of vocal technique from Turkic Sakha (Yakutia) folk songs and singers. Continue on with your Dimash journey, you have just begun.
Dimash is singing very live in-front of the audience. There is no recording. He took this song his own version from the original. This run is nothing compared to his Sinful Passion performance. Dimash is do well versed with music being a singer, songwriter and musician. He studied Music with a Bachelors degree in Contemporary and Opera. He is now continuing his Masters in Music Composition. Thank you for your reaction.
He's great in this song, but it doesn't showcase his voice the most. There is such an amazing library of songs that will wow you!!! Please react to more Dimash!
He added Wo ai ni which is I Love Yyou in Mandarin, then said it again in Kazach. He sings in 12 languages, is fluent in Kazach, Russian, is pretty good in English now and is still studying it along with Mandarin, which after living in Beijing for 3 years he knows some, but says it's a very, very hard language to learn, plus his staff speak to him in English so he doesn't get a lot of practice with Mandarin like he does with English, although not with native speakers.
I think you would like Know/Ascolta la Voce/Vocalise (same song, different names) there are various versions all are amazing! Look forward to more reactions 👋🇬🇧
@@Julian8794 Yes, this exact video as you pointed out czcams.com/video/UCbpt48KntY/video.html ... That performance is truly incredible, beautiful. It's more than just singing or even music, it's pure art, feelings, passion, love. It's truly special.
Thank you for reacting to Dimash again. Please keep on reacting to Dimash. My first song of him I listend to was „Sinful passion“ and I was hooked immediately. Talking about runs react to it. 😉
Re the difficulty of English, I can relate, not as a singer but as a former ESL teacher! Re the amazing run he did here, I've seen lots of comments about the origin of it. Same for Sinful Passion. Dimash, even from his younger years, has experimented with singing styles from almost everywhere. He is an eternal student of music, at the university level and street level, just like yourself! Pleeease react to OGNI PIETRA. One of his masterpieces. :)) I personally prefer the fancams from his Arnau concert, because you can see his facial expressions, and to me the audio sounds pretty good. Thanks for reacting to Dimash! I live for these vids of real professionals reacting to him! :)
I am Italian and therefore by definition I understand bel canto and I also have specific competence. I'll use a translator to send you the message in your language. Is your comment on how much you've heard is just so good? Drawing a parallel, what would you say of God? That he's a good guy? Let us immediately clarify the fundamental points and tell you a real expert : Unrepeatable points of excellence : The "Diminuendo" of " E lucevan le stelle" in the "Tosca" performed by Franco Corelli, " Teatro Regio di Parma", January 21, 1967. Summertime sung by Janis Joplin, Stockholm 1969. Let's move now to Dimash Kudaibergen : In the technical-extension combination he is definitely the most gifted singer of all time. Consulting is free. Make good use of it.
Thanks, Dileesa, for a great reaction! I so agree with other comments here suggesting you react to Dimash’s Sinful Passion. It’s an amazing performance! (Oh...well, ALL of his performances are amazing!)❤️❤️❤️
I recommend ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS. It's the closing credit soundtrack for an Italian sci-fi fantasy movie starring William Shatner, Gerald Depardieu and Bruce Payne among others. Supposed to premiere in Italy last March 19th but got postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic. He was invited to the premiere but the director and producer of this movie said Dimash respectfully and regretfully declined as he said he didn't want to put his grandparents' as well as members of his family's lives and safety at risk because he is staying with them.
If this song wow you, you should listen to Opera 2 with Dimash!!! It's even better than the original one. Dimash is not only the best singer ever, but an amazing performer.
Dimash is such a unique, incredible & incomparable singer. Thank you for reacting to Dimash’s great version of Hello. Please react to Your Love, Ogni Pietra, & the rest of his amazing songs. 🤗😍❤️🥰🇨🇦🇨🇦
Surprised you thought this sounded regular to you. In just the first 2 verses and choruses (before he went crazy), he displayed like 5 or more completely different styles of vocals, a fairly large range (nothing too crazy), many different tones/timbres that most singers wouldn't display in entire multiple songs, great breath control, ability to crescendo & decrescendo while belting perfect notes while always having full control of adding/removing vibrato no matter the tone or octave/pitch, etc. Maybe it is "regular" but I don't see almost any singers showing so many different capabilities like that therefore I personally don't see how it's regular. Then he brought it to alien level, lol. BTW, totally not trying to give you a hard time, just throwing some of my thoughts and reactions here in the comments :) . Love your vids!!!!!!
He added stuff that was not in the song before. I don’t know what she’s talking about. I mean even before the climax, some of the melody changes were evident.
Dileesa Archer Context, how does it work? You started off the video saying that you’d been told the song was “mind blowing” and at the point you made the “regular” comment that clearly hadn’t happened. So, it seemed clear to me that you meant up until that point the song had been regular by Dimash’s standards. I don’t know what these folk are tripping about. BTW, if you want a real Dimash “Run Challenge” I would suggest either “Sinful Passion” or “Know” if you haven’t already seen them. Thanks for the insightful reaction.
The fucking show always added post production effects on his voice for some reason but I've heard this man live and his voice is so powerful yet pure and the overtones he's producing you don't even get to hear mostly in the recorded audio of his live performances , I couldn't believe what I was hearing .
Not sure if you'll read this as it's been 4 days since this reaction, but here goes. He can sing 6 octaves. And there is no strain for him. He's been training since the age of 5. God gave him a beautiful instrument and with a good work ethic he's developed it into a voice that's out of this world. The composer Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs especially for him. It must be amazing to compose for a voice with such a wide range. If you listen to 'Ogni Pietra" with your eyes closed you would swear it's a duet between a man and a woman. So beautiful!
I think you haven't seen anything, he just keeps getting better. Just Adagio, Know, Olympico and Love Like a Dream and Your Love and now Samalatau 2020 are proof that he is just getting started. The bad thing Lionel Richie didn't like the fact that he sang the song and sent him a cease and desist letter... I used to like Lionel Richie before that.
Too bad for Mr Ritchie, I would have thought that he was talented enough to know that having someone with Dimash's voice singing a cover of your song should be considered an honor. When Dimash eventually becomes a world musical icon, Mr Ritchie may then in restropect reconsider his sad and poor decision.
Why do people make up stuff like this? Under American copyright law you can’t send someone a Cease & Desist letter for singing a song. Lionel Ritchie could send one if they were playing his version, but not for a cover version. This is not a thing that happened.
Wrong thought that Dimash added his notes to this song to please the audience. He performed this song at a competition in China. And the notes from the Arabic motifs (the Middle East) were taken - for the Chinese this is not native. Dimash sang this to show his vocal abilities and add new colors to this hit. The public liked it.
More Dimash plplpls!!! he is the best singer in the world! The best songs and the mst popular - "Adagio", "Your Love", "Sinful Passion", "Love is like a dream", "All by Myself" !!!!!!

highly recommend his performance on My heart will go on by celine dion, its one of his lesser famous performances but it has the most amazing belt i've ever heard in my life! or his performance on daybreak from his bastau concert!
The runs are very much influenced by Turkish style of music/singing The Ottoman empire or what is now modern Turkey are originally from the east, Kazakh people are also Turcik. Turkey being the country that is a bridge joining asia to Europe. This style has become a part of Balkan countries Greece and many neighbouring countries

Hello! I'm from Russia. I really liked your reactions to Dimash. I think you might like another singer, she has a beautiful low timbre of her voice and you like that too, as I understand it. Perhaps you will like her performance. I will be glad if you make a reaction to it Diana Ankudinova- Wicked game
Dimash, like most Kazakhs, is a practicing Muslim. That run is the Muslim call to prayer (Adhan). Historically, it was an Ethiopian, Bilal ibn Rabah, follower of the Prophet Mohammed who has been assigned to sing the call to prayer. You have a sharp ear, especially hearing the short eastern run in the beginning of the song. At 5:37, see Hua Chenya. U may like his work, start with Nunchucks. Of course there is Angelina Jordan, Gloomy Sunday, Norway's Got Talent, w/eng subs. And, Diana Ankudinova. Check them out!

1. Is it right to express a good song "hello" strangely? I can't understand. 2. Steel heart vocals are basically high and thin, so female yelling suits high notes. Dimash basically has a low and thick sound. So he try to yell at a woman who is overly uncontrolled. This part is so funny, isn't it???
Check out this song simple passion And also check out his song unforgettable day specifically the Gakku concert we're towards the end of the song he hits a d8 notewhich is off the piano scale the highest note ever sung by any human

Why do people make up stuff like this? Under American copyright law you can’t send someone a Cease & Desist letter for singing a song. Lionel Ritchie could send one if they were playing his version, but not for a cover version. This is not a thing that happened.
You should hear dimash sing sinfull passion and we are one.... He do american runs there...
You are hearing some traditional Kazakh folk singing influences there ...
More Dimash plplpls!!!
he is the best singer in the world!
The best songs and the mst popular - "Adagio", "Your Love", "Sinful Passion", "Love is like a dream", "All by Myself" !!!!!!
Hello, with this song it becomes clear again: the words I love you can be very intimate and quiet but also can be very loud like a cry for love...
Please react to Sinfull Passion and Ogni Pietra. Oh and so more songs showcase other qualities he has, which bit by bit HIT you and makes us enjoy and admire his talent more 😃
Dimash super ☝️
“Okay straw” really got me😂 I would love to hear what you would have to say about what fach you feel he would fall into. He it’s like he’s a vocal type of his own. I love your channel!!💖 I love your older videos of the vocal analysis of popular artist sending you love health and sanity💖
highly recommend his performance on My heart will go on by celine dion, its one of his lesser famous performances but it has the most amazing belt i've ever heard in my life!
or his performance on daybreak from his bastau concert!
The runs are very much influenced by Turkish style of music/singing
The Ottoman empire or what is now modern Turkey are originally from the east, Kazakh people are also Turcik. Turkey being the country that is a bridge joining asia to Europe.
This style has become a part of Balkan countries Greece and many neighbouring countries
and turks took it from Arabs
even the makam that dimash sung here called makam al hijaz
I LOVE DIMASH! I LOVE BRASIL!

Honestly this performance for him was normal, there few other songs which will blow your mind.
Sinful passion
Daybreak (bastau performance)
Know
Ogni pietra
Diva dance (bastau performance)
Are few examples.
Hello! I'm from Russia. I really liked your reactions to Dimash. I think you might like another singer, she has a beautiful low timbre of her voice and you like that too, as I understand it. Perhaps you will like her performance. I will be glad if you make a reaction to it
Diana Ankudinova- Wicked game
❤
Youll love Your Love.
His best run 🏃💨 is "sinful passion " 26 secons pure bliss, check it out.
Dimash, like most Kazakhs, is a practicing Muslim. That run is the Muslim call to prayer (Adhan). Historically, it was an Ethiopian, Bilal ibn Rabah, follower of the Prophet Mohammed who has been assigned to sing the call to prayer.
Jennifer, American, sang in Arabs Got Talent in a Beirut based TV show. czcams.com/video/wY-E3w-nIB4/video.html

I love listening to Kazakhstan tribal runs he performs in some of his songs. It is amazing.
Yes this was Arabic. Some people would say it is Middle Eastern, but it is specifically Arabic:)
Thx for the reaction. If you want to hear those arabic runs again, watch his live performance from the song Autumn strong.
Just type in „Dimash Kudaibergen - autumn strong Fuzhou concert“ he did such and incredible job:)
Like😇🙂🙂🙂
I'm sorry that Jessy J had to sing after him, he smashed her before she got into the stage... He sang middleeastern runs
And it was so funny when you said this is normal and predictable, I laughed so hard... Oh and btw Dimash ALWAYS Sings LIVE
Buena reaccion. Saludos desde Argentina.
Daniel Benitez ahh ok thanks.
Loved this reaction ❤️ However you ain't seen anything yet 😂... SINFUL PASSION goes ahead to oppose your Idea that it's difficult for easterners to do western runs... dimash nails it😂.... It's crazy I tell you!... we'd like to see your reaction on that piece.
this is kind of yoddeling used often in Balcanas Areas like Kazakhstan Russia Latvia etc
You must react to dimash daybreak bastau concert....his run is incredible
Sorry, mam, are you listening to him signing or pronouncing English words?
Enjoyed your reaction. Please react to Know and unforgettable day in Gakku
Try to react morissette "AKIN KA NALANG" you'll not regret it i promise
You have a sharp ear, especially hearing the short eastern run in the beginning of the song. At 5:37, see Hua Chenya. U may like his work, start with Nunchucks. Of course there is Angelina Jordan, Gloomy Sunday, Norway's Got Talent, w/eng subs. And, Diana Ankudinova. Check them out!
Regarding runs, please check song "We are one" - the end of the song and you'll see THE RUN.
I love watching Jessie J backstage (she was up next after this) being blown away by this performance: czcams.com/video/aqBJ9D0OOS0/video.html
Actually, JJ had some great performances on this show the season after Dimash- maybe check out her versions of Purple Rain & Killing Me Softly sometime. ;)
A recording? I don't think you should comment on Dimash much longer.
DIMASH: THE VOICE OF GOD OR WALKING GOD HIMSELF ?
React to Sinful Passion. Wear your seat belt.
Please React to Lara Fabian, she's one of the inspirations of Dimash!
Reacciona a sinful passion.

If u wanna hear the most stylistic when it comes to singing U HAVE TO SEE MORISSETTE AMON singing "RISE UP" on wishbus by Andra Day...The most powerful chestvoicd ive ever heard in my entire life..!!U HAVE TOO SEE HER COACH
..!!!
You can also check out dimash has extreme vocals for male voice in a showcase all of his high notes including the d-8
These two are good but you ain't heard nothing yet
English is one of the easiest language to sing, not the most difficulty
Thanh Phan Romance languages are the easiest .
You should have reacted to sinful passion (sochi porformance) as a second choice after reacting to SOS, you will be for sure blowen away, a performance with technical diversity and several runs. You can also hear him talks to the audiance at the end of the performance so you know how he sounds like when he talks.
Best regards
English is the easiest language to learn, speak and sing.
Dileesha i love seeing you doing these reaction videos. May i suggest you react to Jessie J "Aint Nobody" chaka khan cover. Promise you will be floored girl ☺
