- More often that not, Katara was typically the responsible one of Team Avatar - keeping Aang, Sokka, and Toph's reckless natures in check at times. But Katara wasn't above a little immaturity, rash thinking, and goofing off herself... here's 14 minutes of Katara being the "immature" member of Team Avatar!

Adultification and parentification, especially in wartime, are real beasts to deal with. She's only 14. She earned those 14 minutes.
She grew up too quickly and that’s sad
@@Khhaos That's for sure. And she has the patience of a SAINT for all she had to go through... Can you imagine being traumatized and motherless, with your father being away at war--having to both step up in your struggling village AND put up with Sokka at the same time? Before his big humbling moment of character development upon meeting/training with Suki, he was such a brat boy of a brother! I'd rip my hair out from all the stress!!
isn't aang only 12
@@Alablast Yes. Thankfully, Aang didn't have an often-times bothersome and rude sibling to look after. The whole world was already enough on his shoulders.
9:13, At that point Zuko realized, he was >this< close of being permanently removed from existence.
Or More specifically, He discovered that Katara being just harsh with him was a blessing, as she could have had his life in her hands if she wanted, but she simply never tried anything because she didn't want to, and because she respected Aang's decision to trust Zuko. Otherwise, she could simply, when no one was around, give Zuko pain even greater than the pain his hateful father inflicted on him.
Can we all agree that even though Katara was sometimes acting immature at least she did cared about helping Aang defeating the firelord and caring for team avatar's safety/acting motherly through the entire serie?
katara rules :)
It shows Katara was not perfect at all. She was human like all the others.
Avatar is a great example of how to do strong female characters the right way
@@EssexAggiegrad2011 Yes. No matter what, human like the others. Her loss made her grow up fast so her controlling nature comes from feeling so helpless and not wanting that again.
as the least likable atla character, she was never remotely considered as perfect 😭
I can see why she bloodbended. That sense of power its literally a rush of adrenaline and a power high.
Can we all agree that Katara really has much of a firebender impulse behavior as Zuko does?
The duality of water
@@za-za2748ZUtara for life❤💙
I love it when she actually allows herself to cut loose every once in a while 😊
I hate to see the scene where that old man just betrayed Haru
Edit: spelled his name wrong
Haru*
@@lina1d802 yeah
Pardon
“Then you didn’t love her the way I did” now ok Katara was messed up for that
Now just a minute, that's going too far!
You must be a Karen or
I'm not like the other girls type of a person 🚮
She was also messed up for scoffing in Aang’s face mocking him and saying he would never understand her grief as if Aang hasn’t lost more than Katara could ever comprehend. Very self centered of her, for both what she said to Sokka and Aang
Yeah, but sokka has also mentioned he doesn’t really remember her
@@frostykittensexcuse him for grieving differently than his perfect little sister.
Wow, I sure do love this 14 minute video that I watched in its entirety, zero seconds after it being uploaded
Captain obvious.
So the guy who killed katara’s mother offered up his own mother as recompense? For a man from the fire nation that is ❄️❄️❄️❄️🥶🥶🥶🥶
I think the reason he executed Katara and Sokka's mother instead of taking her prisioner like the Nation had been doing so far was exactly because he was envious of the love that woman clearly nurtured for her daughter. Something he never got.
4:55 Somehow, Katara blushing after seeing Jet again, still gets me 😂😂😂😂😂
She liked him, but he terribly disappointed her, as he proved to have become like those he and she hated so much.
Kid a hows that include words like “sexist” and get away with it are always top-tier. Shows like that should seriously come back.
How was the last one her being immature? You ask me, that’s the opposite: it shows she’s a forgiving person, despite what that guy did.
*No! I will never, ever turn my back on people who need me! - Katara 🌊 , at **1:28** - **1:33*
The words of a true Hero!!!!!
It's still reckless.
@@JamaicaZ160R1793010A hey the true essence of a hero is interfering without needing to
If there was one quote to describe Katara, this would be it.
9:05 the moment Zuko learned NEVER to mess with Katara.
I love how realistic all the characters are, no one's perfect :)
Unfortunately, Live Action didn't properly work on this (among other things).
9:36 Ah, i love when she is mad 😊.
Zuko is really the best pair to her, he approves her whims and she accepts his help. Theyre a perfect match im a fight.
And that's the problem, you can't have two people with such similar personalities, as they're not going to work well in the long term.
6:14 More like "Pirating the Waterbending Scroll from Pirates"
The great thing is these are all preteens. Most of them are young teens. They are taking on alot and the creators still allow those childish moments. It like a real family. Katara was the mother of the group. Sometimes it's forgotten she is also a child who too had to grow up fast
I mean her instincts were right.. they did need to stay cause if they left.. that village would have been destroyed one way or another. And all those would die
To this day I still wonder how the avatar team wandering around the fire Nation didn’t immediately give them 6 star wanted levels by the fire Nation.
Grand Theft Avatar lol 🤣
Maybe it did, but with the news spreading based on Letters and the fact that Team Avatar didn't stay long in one place, it helped a lot to avoid major chases and sieges, which is why traditionally, only Zuko and Azula were able to keep up. minimally Aang's Rhythm (Instead of waiting, they went after it themselves).
Only two were immature stealing the waterbending scroll and yelling at Toph
Nah, what she said to Aang and Sokka was foul.
@@masterDarts4188facts
4:18-4:20 whoa Katara! No need to get hostile!
1:29 was probably her best line ever
10:22 was her and most savage insult😂
0:08 "Some wild child" is crazy 😂
Even when she is imature she is 100% SERIOUS
The most immature moment for Katara was for sure when she wanted vengeance on the man who killed her and Sokka's mother. Just hearing it in her voice.
And the way she treated everyone during the episode.
It was her process. Not nice to be calling people immature because of their own struggles, in real life. Katara’s character embodies childhood trauma and parental issues
it was understandable though
That’s why she was acting like that, and being emotional all the show, but also being very caring
It was her lost emotional moment. Immature? I think it's human regardless of age.
If this is immaturity, I like it 👌 😏 😄. Go Katara
Katara is immature and it’s gonna knock your Sokkas off
I came to realize even during the day karatas waterbending was op
But come on man during night time KATARA's waterbending becomes avatar level (godly)
I wish she's featured in avatar Korra fighting and destroying some evil waterbenders like Ming hua and amon ❤️
broo imagine she was at yakone’s trial. SHES SO op. i wish she was there
@@iann2335 yes
And the fact that she'd learn every waterbending technique in no time even resisting bloodbending in the very first encounter 💀🙌🏿🌊
well nighttime is where the moon's at
The right thing is its own reward 😅
But i still want the actual reward 😂
You’re missing the big mud fight with Toph
Meanwhile the whole avatar squad:💀
I love season 3 and it's such a awesome show forever
1:43 Aang and Sokka are passed out because Katara realized that she wanted to pull the scam with her and Toph
1:34 Aang and Sokka’s faces were priceless! 😂😂
6:52 i think here she was mature SHE and him SAVED A LIFE WITH HER QUICK THINKING
without katara team avatar won't survive in the desert
Katara😍😍🥰
So what now?
Immature or responsible moments?
Because I think both are in this video
No just bad immature
7:58 I hated this part THIS GUY SAVED YOU AND YOURE GONNA SNITCH ON HIM
1:28 this scene makes me happy
I love the scamming episode, but the fire nation having a wooden cell sounds pretty dumb.
I mean, she is still a kid after all.
She's 14
@@DoomLeigion8086 yeah. Still technically a kid. But she balances it out with being mature most of the time.
Andrew tate really went after katara like: breathe air! Anngs air!
Great job
Sussy moment ok but really nice katara enjoying her life
I hope to see this side of katara on the live action season 2 and
12:24 why isn't it a plothole that northern water tribe won't teach fighting waterbending to females - I mean what if aang were female? If they'd make an exception for female-Aang for the sake of world peace, then there's no reason to make an exception for all their females. There have been many female warriors bender or non-bender since way before the start of the series. Society usually doesn't become MORE discriminatory towards women. There should be much reason to think the ATLA/TLOK world has much less discrimination towards women. (Suki & Sokka. The Katara & Pakku.)
Dude, think about it for a couple of seconds, why would they teach the women how to fight. WHO are they gonna fight? The North Pole is an isolated location that even the Fire Nation couldn't locate until 100 years worth of time and there's no one else there except for that one single settlement.
Outside of hunting and occasionally sending out parties to maybe help the Earth Kingdom, combat is almost a non issue for them and healing is far more vital to their survival than combat and women seem to naturally be better at it. They are more valuable as healers than fighters.
@@thefanwithoutaface8105
Why aren't they chickenhawk - 'thank you female avatar for fighting to keep us safe but we won't teach our own women to fight ' ?
@@nicbentulan Pretty sure they make an exception for the Avatar cause no duh.
As long as she's not trying to be the funny one.
How come in the thumbnail you make water tribe so light
I need to ask this as I keep wondering but I can never get a straight answer. Water benders have all the water they'll ever need in the form of their own pee, so why not use it as a weapon in jail and turn it into ice/use it as a cutting tool?
Would have been easier and faster than Katara sweating it out, just a bit smellier!
Probably would’ve upped the rating too.
❤
Katara wasn't very immature.
❤❤❤
I love this girl❤
4:18 really Katara… really?
Katara Is Barely Immature She Has Anger Problems
ragereek nicholson
Why says you too channel still active
Would Kiawentiio begin to act like her in the vid?
BOY
I love avatar lol
Cool 😎😎😎
2:09. 11:44
❤️💯
how is this immature though?
Katara: My mother was immature.
Ok nothing to do with the video but hear me out! This might be dark don’t judge, but I think if Zuko had died to the lightning at the end of avatar it would have been the perfect redemption arc, and everyone would’ve have genuinely been happy with the end of his story. I know they wouldn’t have done it because it’s sort of a kids show. But I actually think that it would be such a satisfying end, Karata thanking him for saving her, and him drawing his last breath, knowing that he saved probably countless people. THAT would’ve been the dream ending. But that’s just my opinion what do you guys think?
A bit cruel and needless, since he was already redeemed. Besides the Nation would have fallen into chaos without him, very likely to self-destroy. Would have avenged the whole world, no doubt. But it would have gone against the show's message.
why is katara white in this thumbnail
First
*Blue Shell*
Love how fieldtrips with Zuko is just a normal thing the gaang partakes in.
