- Envy Scooters just released their 2022 line of complete pro scooters including the Prodigy S9, Colt S5 and the KOS S7. Of the entire new drop, the KOS got the most love which I'm pretty stoked on. This scooter is absolutely stunning. The KOS line consists of the KOS Heist, KOS Charge and KOS Soul. The Charge and the Heist both are more of a "park" scooter while the Soul is directed to "street" riders. Both scooters are a great choice when it comes to the best bang for your buck. The Charge and the Heist both come with IHC compression, aluminum bull bars, Will Scott grips, 120mm x 30mm tri bearing scooter wheels, a 5.1" x 21" long scooter deck and so much more. The Soul is pretty similar with the exception of having a 5.5" x 22" long scooter deck, an Envy Omen SCS clamp as well as a 4130 chromoly T bar. I'm 40 yrs old and am becoming a bit obsessed with scoot/skating.
I've never done either, it wasnt much of a thing when I was a kid, not in the UK.
I have a 9 year old Son now who has a scooter and skateboard and I think im more obsessed with it than he is.
We've bought him a new scoot for christmas and I spent weeks researching every little thing I could. I've looked at every complete that exists, I've read loads of stuff, I've watched hours and hours of videos (cheers Raymond) and I wish I could get a scoot but I'm scared i'll look silly.
I'm 6'6" and 250lbs so i'm gonna stick out like a sore thumb. Another part of me worries that this is some kind of mid-life crisis, being 40 with a wife and child doesn't always afford you much freedom and excitment, so when I'm at the skatepark, I cant help thinking how liberating it must be to fly around on a scooter (or skateboard). I dont know of this makes me a cool dad or just a bit sad. Maybe I'm over thinking it?

I am 40 too and my 5 year old boy loves scooters and after coming across Raymond and Envy I bought him a Envy One S3 for Christmas but as he only 5 I thought I will get a scooter too so got the Envy KOS S6 Charge so I can go with out him. Like you I am probably more into it than him as being quite tall I decided to treat my scooter to some new Reaper V3 bars and some 120 x 30mm wheels. I love it, just need to lean some cool tricks now lol

Hey Raymond I have a video idea, Maybe you get a bunch of your merch (or envy merch) and label them with tricks, and if people want to earn those prizes they have to do those tricks and they have 2 or 3 tries and you can pick where ever they do it on. Examples. (doing a Flair on the quarter pipe or a buttercup over a box. (that would be hard).

It really depends on how tall you are and if you prefer a chromoly bar or an aluminum bar. If you like a lighter scooter, go for the park. If you're looking for a taller scooter, then the street. They're both pretty versatile.

I asked the same question. My guess is the KOS is Better as Envys website says it's there top of the line models but these being newer it's hard to tell.
