This video was taken while I was volunteering at a conservation center in Victoria, Australia. These are the orphaned young koalas I took care of during my time there. We cared for these orphans until they were mature enough to be set free and live on their own. Henrietta (Henri), in particular, was very active that day!
It was very interesting as koalas spend most of their time in trees and rarely spend time on the ground, so seeing her bounding about in the grass was a funny experience. :)

I'm so envious! My ideal day- playing with the babies and roaming about with one or more riding on my back. Getting infinite amounts of koala kisses. Giving out plenty of belly rubs. Having koality tea parties. Falling asleep with them snuggled in my arms. Bliss!💖💖💖💖🐨

Haha she may have! Just funny to see her on the ground, they usually don't act that way but still, she was insanely cute and playful :)

Probably not, dogs noses are wet to aid with their super sense of smell. Koalas sense of smell is not that good compared to dogs.
@@greathornedowl1783Not true. Koalas have a super sense of smell too. They smell gum leaves before consuming them to instinctually know which ones to eat - gum leaves are highly poisonous but koalas system can handle it and most animals can’t.

Tina T Yes, sometimes the baby koalas (seen here) will hang onto you and even fall asleep!
