I was in store today 5/18/24 and the deals were in store.
Haven't seen them in store anywhere else yet. Either 1, your Home Depot made an epic mistake.. or 2, they are rolling it out at different times. It doesn't make sense to do the early access and in store on the same day, though. Either way, enjoy!

Yeah, they were pretty quite about launching that the other day. I also started thinking Home Depot made a mistake. There are some good deals in there, just nothing that I need. Except for the brad nailer and planer. I'll probably hack those as I don't need those batteries.
What I'm really looking to get is the Brushless Angle Grinder and Reciprocating Saw. I hope that those two will be having a BOGO kit.
I'm thinking we're definitely going to get a refresh on the deals once the in-store launch happens. I personally think they may be trying to "clear some space" on the shelf

Personally, no. I'd get the Brushless. More power and just an overall more long-lasting tool. But there are a lot of people who have a non-brushless tools and they work just fine.

William been waiting for the deal with the free stick vacuum and I ordered it. Probably will return the batteries so the vacuum will actually cost me only $99. Great deal. I checked later and the stick vacuum was not there anymore, maybe back now? Thanks
Happy to hear you got it! And you know I'm a HUGE supporter of the deal hack, definitely do it if you don't need the batteries. And yeah, I just checked, the stick back is up. I think they are still updating some of the deals.
when i try to get a FREE stick vacuum it is only 50% off although it says FREE TOOL.....
the only ryobi batteries worth keeping are the high performance ones IMHO. same thing with dewalt. any new dewalt batteries i'm going to get will be powerstack from this point on.

hp batteries are much better, especially for tools. I use the cheaper batteries for lights and fans

The available tools are not as good as last year.

Yeah, I believe we are all a bit disappointed with the options for the early access. I'm almost certain we will see some refreshed deals with the in-store launch, though.

Yeah unfortunately that’s the only place they’re lacking, I still buy them for the price and sheer amount of tools they offer, plus their battery compatibility is just the best so far for a homeowner and diy guy

Yeah. This early access launch left a lot to be desired, but I'm surr we'll see some refreshed deals for the in-store launch... we better! Lol
With all the stealing that has been going on, I'm not surprised that the deals are lesser this year.

Yep, that's how the deals are designed. It's more about the out the door price.
They drop the price of both 50% you’re buying the batteries for full price and getting the tool for free so it boils down to the batteries are $99 and the tool is 100. You can hack the deal and return the tool for a $100 3 hp battery pack. Or vise Versa for the tool. But other deals the tool is less than $100 and the batteries are more than $100
