Ok. Hear me out. I'm a teacher and I'm teaching my grade 4's about sea creatures and I REALLY want to find a way to use animal crossing fish because they are SO WELL DONE! When you catch a coelacanth on the second try, but fish from 9-11 for 2.5 weeks and go through hundreds of fish bait, just to catch one barreleye.
Omg Barreleye was my last to catch and it took me forever hahahah

ok, so I saw u had the guppy, I was like: oh I wanna get that from my river!
Then I saw a shadow I fished it up and it was a guppy, on my first try.
(I have all fish now, the hardest one was the string fish and the golden trout)

I finally did it. It took over a year with no time traveling and god knows how much bait, but it's finally done.

@@littleprogamerz4286 in my opinion the coelacanth is pretty easy to catch like one day when it was raining i caught one within like 8 mintues
i have 13 oarfish, 4 coelacanth, the other 3 coecalanth I used for making a model if it, 9 golden trout, 24 spider crabs, and 18 football fish
Also if your wondering about the sharks yea i got 7 of all of them

thanks this helped me a lot, and im actually a pro fisher during 2020 but my save data got terminated so i have to restart my full museum and i completely forgot the time and seasonality of the bugs and fish and this guide helped me a lot, now i just need the stringfish
Edit: i made 200 fish bait and im going to spend 100 on stringfish and save 100 for may since mahi mahi and trevally come back :D

They are quite expensive, though.

I remember the good ol days when I played animal crossing all the time, especially fishing, and im gonna be real here, you know everyone barfs on sea bass because of how annoying they are? me? I was the exact opposite, whenever I get a sea bass, I was happy, and you might think that means I was just optimist about acnh but NO, IT WAS BECAUSE OF HOW MANY FREAKING TIMES I GET RARE FISH, LIKE I GOT 6 COELACANTHS EVEN BEFORE I GOT THE UPGRADED RESIDENT SERVICES AND ITS NOT ONLY COELACANTHS IT WAS OARFISHES, GOLDEN TROUTS, FREAKING EVERY SHARK SPECIES IN THE GAME, AND SPIDER CRABS, ESPECIALLY SPIDER CRABS, I CAUGHT 83 OF THOSE MFS AND MANAGED TO FILL MY 3 ROOM HOUSE WITH JUST SPIDER CRABS, AND WHILE ALL OF THAT FISHING SPREE WAS HAPPENING I MANAGED TO FRIKIN GET RAYMOND AHAHAGSFAHBABABBAB
and you might ask why im so mad about it.
