He is such a goofball! That guy! Maurices is definitely my favorite store now. Forever! I used to not worry about walking into a clothing store and being tempted to buy anything. Now I have to stay away from there unless I plan on making a purchase! LOL!!

I am so glad that you found some clothes that make you feel good! I need some Spirit Animal. I have zero, which is a crime. Those otters! Love your new start and now I want to stitch Book of Spells on green fabric! Genius! That last fabric you showed with the sugar skull/dia de Los muertos ladies - I bought some at Joann’s and am completely in love with it. I’m hoping to make a bag out of it at some point. Love. It.
The more I look at Spirit Animal, the more I love it! I can't believe I was going to pass on it! And what a huge effing sigh of relief that Jaftex bought Free Spirit! I swear I was certain I was going to miss out on De La Luna like I did with Nightshade.

I'm so glad you did another video! (And that you found jeans, because maybe that'll cut down on your stress level and you can make more videos for us. I'm currently wearing a pair with huge holes around the ankles and a patch on the rear because they fit and I'm not going out in search of another pair.)
I definitely need to print out the worksheets to figure out what's going on with my stash, so I'll be watching for that video.

Peggy has the older fabrics listed as OOP right now, and raised the price about $0.75 or a $1. I'm not sure that they're legitimately out of print though... Everyone seemed to go into a full-blown panic with the announcement of Free Spirit going out of business. She's still going to get the All Stars line, and the De La Luna line too. I have a feeling the other fabrics will still be printed, she just hasn't updated that post again.
And, YES, I do feel like we need custom made jeans! The maurices curvy jeans are as close as I've gotten to that!
I so relate to your issues with shopping. And I'm cracking up at the description of how the skies open up.
Ugh... The clothes shopping is such nightmare! Until this last time anyway... And I really did feel like the skies opened up like that! Hahaha!
Sarah Greiner I agree, my backside has had many names through the years. The sky's have opened up a few times. You just have to ask for help. I hate shopping. But I started volunteering for a donation place and I have found lots of new things in like new or new condition. It's like a whole new wardrobe in helping in two weeks helping. However pants are slim for my size. But I've scored some awesome stuff. Check out volunteering for donation places.
We have a Maurice's here in upstate NY. (I'm assuming it's the same.) My daughter loves that store!

Hahaha! I'm so glad it made you laugh; and I, too, am glad I found some clothes! Yes!! The frame I have Santa's Village loaded on is a RolaFrame. I LOVE IT!! The rod is split, so you can separate it and then load your fabrics onto little nail tacks. It doesn't slip, and when you roll it the tension gets nice and tight. I think there's a page on FB for RolaFrames, but I buy mine from Bush Mountain Stitchery. (bushmtnstitch.com/index.php?controller=search&orderby=position&orderway=desc&search_query=rolaframe). I just order the rods and side bars from them; no other accessories or frames. Hope that helps! Will do more on the organization stuff soon! ❤

It's so wonderful that we're all so different, I just wish the clothing designers would realize that too and not try to keep doing the one-type-fits-all sort of jeans! Congrats to your daughter! I have my son for a while longer as he hasn't graduated high school yet. I think his ship-off date for boot camp is around the beginning of July. I'm enjoying as much of this last half year with him as possible!

My apologizing for everything is so ridiculous! It's pretty much a joke in the family because I say "sorry" for everything. If I bump into furniture I'll say, "oops, sorry!" like the couch needs an apology... Good grief! I am working on getting better at it though!

I had a hard time choosing between them too, but opted to go with the Santa's VIllage first and then see if I wanted to stitch the Gingerbread one afterwards. So far I'm absolutely loving stitching on Santa's Village!

Oh yes ... American Eagle is in Las Vegas for sure. We go there every Spring Break. The outdoor mall at the end of the strip (south side) has AE and the Fashion mall on the strip across from the Trump hotel has AE ... along with every other mall in Vegas. Also there is supposed to be an amazing stitching shop, I think it’s called Paradise Stitching. I’ll be checking that out this year. Now on to your next video!😊

i love your channel, i run a crochet company and getting into cross stitch but i already feel like a failure cause i can only see 14 count,, we live in the country and our internet is limited too but thankfully the company we use is limited and have verizon and we have unlimited data with them and mobile hotspot, i also have the library option cause they have a computer lab and that is where i print patterns
Thank you! Don't feel like a failure! I can't see the holes either without using a pair of ridiculous magnifier glasses that I wear when stitching. There's no way I could stitch without my reader glasses or that magnifier. I will show me wearing them in a future video (probaby #6 since #4 and 5 are already recorded and uploading now).

I am currently in rural upstate, NY helping out with my sick mother and I just recently switched from having a Verizon 4g LTE box with 40 gigs a month to satellite internet (Excede). So now I get 150 gigs a month and I don't know what to do with myself! I have been catching up on Flosstube and it just feels so weird to not feel so restricted. I totally get where you're coming from. It's crazy this day in age some places are still dealing with having no internet. The only way I was able to have internet before was the Verizon internet box and for 40 gigs it was costing 300 a month! It's an added anxiety we shouldn't have to have... like waiting to get to a place with free Wifi to finally update all of your apps! It's crazy!
That data issue.... it just doesn't seem like it should be a big deal. Until it is! And it is weird to think of some places not having internet too. My husband was looking into some satellite internet (I think Hughes Net). Maybe if I complain enough on my videos (that I know he sneaks and watches!) he'll end up switching us so he doesn't have to hear me whine anymore...LOL!! And yes, I've absolutely done the free Wifi thing! Especially to update apps on my phone! 🙄🤪🤣
I've tried Hughes Net before years and years ago. It's perfect if you wanna just watch CZcams and stuff like that. I haven't tried it recently, but what I have now lets me even online game with no problem! Hope your hubby looks more into those options!

I don't know if you've tried this but you can reduce the resolution when your watching you tube videos. I use about 380 on my phone. Has helped me use way less data. I hate clothes shopping alone you have to go with a gopher. So much easier going nope wrong size fetch another minion lol

I decided to put all the videos on the lowest resolution (since I'm really just stitching and listening) and I've been able to start catching up on videos this weekend. I'm in heaven! Stitch ALL The Things Im so glad I helped. At least on my phone i keep an eye on it cause occasionally it'll bounce back to 1080p(can go days and not do it I just check once in awhile). Not sure why it does that. You may not get that on a tablet or computer I honestly don't know. Just thought I'd mention it :)

Hahahaha! She just turned my whole perspective on clothes around, she has no idea!! She did ask me if I wanted to try some sort of jeggings... I told her no problem as long as she had a top in the store that could cover my bum. She didn't bring me any jeggings to try on though. I don't know what that was about... but at least I don't have jeans that gap at the waist now!

My parents moved around quite a bit when I was younger. Rowland Heights, San Gabriel, and Norwalk were the places I remember. Mostly Norwalk.
