The dog gently licks her puppies, warming them with her body. And all the inconveniences of the pregnancy are quickly forgotten.

My lab had 19 puppies. They all survived. My vet came to my house to see this miracle of nature. I too had to buy a lot of puppy milk! They were so sweet.

It was so magical
I help her with everything and I loved doing it
It was one the most magical times in my life
Oh dear, the poor "mom" is exhausted but compensation to see the 19 cuties so beautiful. I agreed wholeheartedly the "fur-kid" is forever a family to love and to care for the rest of his/her life. Never ever "abandoned" a "fur-kid" no matter how "old" he/she is, would forever be "my loving kid".

I agree 150%that a dog isn't just a dog when it goes to a family, the dog now becomes a family member. . am the owner of a blue nose pitbull and ever since she walked into our lives she has been just about the best thing that has walked into our lives!!! She's family and I love her so much that I'd do anything for my dog 🐶.

I have a shitzu dog that is my constant companion. He understands almost every thing spoken to him and has developed his own language of barks to respond on a range of subjects. My life is much better for his loyalty and trust and yes he is part of the family not just a pet.

No matter how cute , they are not easy to take care.
My cockapoo is 14. The other day she was so sick that I thought i had to put her down. I was ugly crying for hours because she had signs of what I thought were kidney failure. It turned out that she had a bad u.t.i. that made her bleed, act lethargic and gulp water. It's awful thinking about losing her. She's here with me when I've been alone, sleeps with me and comforts me through many major events in my life. Dogs are more than dogs. They are family, like kids. I know they're not human, but she's loved sooooo much.

B vegan Now Somehow this isn’t discussed or understood by the majority NEARLY enough. Thank you for saying this. People need to stop seeing dogs (and even cats) as breeding machines because they are not like people where they have just one baby when they give birth. I know in a perfect world its adorable and sweet, but **It’s sad that people in the comment section actually believe that the owners are going to keep all 19 puppies. I guarantee they might keep 2-3 (even that is a lot) and no more unless they’re really experienced (and wealthy) people. If this dog family goes viral enough im sure enough people will adopt all the puppies, but you cant guarantee theyre all going to loving and caring homes (love isnt always enough. As an owner YOU are that dog’s lifeline. Dogs throughout their entire life need people to survive, they cant rely on themselves, just like baby humans they rely on their caretaker to survive and live a good life.)
While i do hope this dog was already pregnant before they got her, If not its okay...people just aren’t typically educated enough on this topic. Its not always the owner’s fault if their dog is pregnant, but my greatest wish is that if people ACTUALLY care for animals, PLEASE do your research on the importance and reasoning behind spaying/neutering EVEN If Its sad. Don’t be ignorant if you want a pet. They are not toys.
Overpopulation in dogs and cats is a major issue. Just like children in foster care centers that need homes. Please don’t fetishize a breed either. Dogs are all beautiful and valuable and worthy of love...not just specific breeds. it would be amazing if people educated themselves and learned that if you love dogs you need to learn why adoption from shelters is so important, and thorough research and self examination of your life to see if you can be that eternal caretaker of that pet. Things happen, but a lot of tragedies can be avoided if we are informed and thinking of the dog’s (and their puppies) life quality instead of just our own.
Thank you if you read even a small part of this i just needed to share because not enough people go in depth without attacking others, *** no one should ever shame you if you bought a dog from a breeder or shop, just please, if you have compassion for dogs and cats, learn about what millions of sweet animals (that are hidden in shelters and pounds) have to go through that need our help.. and what you CAN do as a loving and mature human to help. 🐶 ❤️ I did a thorough school essay project on animal overpopulation in shelters once and i explained it carefully and slowly, and nobody (including a supposed experienced animal LOVER, and i mean like she always talked about dogs and helping them) seemed to understand a word of it. They thought my entire paper was on animal abuse. Smdh lol, it’s so much more than just that...I just wish people cared more. Yes its sad but please dont ignore such important things like that because you CAN make a difference by adopting just one pet and making sure they are neutered or at least kept under close constant supervision with no other dogs of the opposite gender living there.

Yes a special dog is an important part of the family. We brought home a yorky and our lives have changed. It's all about her , everything she does is special to us. Even pain in ass sometimes not being able to do stuff we'd be lost without her.

I hope the breeders don't crop the ears of the puppies like the mother's ears have been. Some of them seem to have had their tails docked.
But they have to with some puppies. Like the dogs that care for farm animals need to docked to be safe

Voice of Reason fr. I live on a farm and you do that to sheep, they probably wouldn’t agree with castrating either but anyone with common sense would know how that would end. Put them on a farm with sheep without docked tails (very disgusting, neighbor has some) and all the animals without castrating them. Show them the results and see if that changes the snowflakes minds
Voice of Reason also have a dog with a docked tail. Australian Shepherd is what I have and they are also known for having docked tails. Some are even born with short tails
@@voiceofreason446 Just because cruelty is traditional, it is not the reason to continue it. Thankfully, in the U.K. it is now illegal to crop ears or dock tails in breeds that traditionally had this done. Docking and ear cropping are unnecessary mutilations.
