Invent is literal soul music. Nothing even compares. I can’t even comprehend, I just can feel every single aspect of it and I absolutely love it.
This one and False Meridian are face slappers. Solid album all around, fellas.
False Meridian was pretty good. Listened to it last Friday on a drive. it was the one on the album that caught my attention
This might be my personal favorite. “Another prison of loss and doubt, it’s true. But nothing keeps me alive as much as you.” That hit me so hard. When there’s someone who saves you everyday, who is everything… if my crazy self can find somebody, anybody can. Love this song so much.
This album is absolutely insane. That was the greatest chorus ive ever heard. This might end up being my #1 song of 2023.

Without a Whisper is still my favorite chorus. But damn it this song is amazing. But the whole album is flawless 10/10. This is the best album I’ve heard since ERRA self titled.

Invent Animate has turned into this emotional/soul driven metalcore band and I’m absolutely in love with it. You can hear the growth in their music, absolute banger of an album. Much love for Ben English, but Lars Marcus Vik is my favorite vocalist in the genre currently. Versatile and so talented, and his lyricism is so profound. Amazing.
Was Ben only on the first two,I just found this band a few months ago,didn’t know there was a diff vocalist

I'm absolutely blown away by this album goosebumps the whole way through. Easily one of the best modern Metal Core albums ive ever heard. This is at least an 8/10 album even if you dont really like Metal Core (its a 10/10 for me)
After what Northlane, Lorna Shore, Currents, Sleep Token, Periphery, and others have shown recently, I'd disagree.
It's maybe a 7 if you don't like metalcore and an 8 if you do.
If you have a very narrow taste in music and only compare it to contemporaries, it's probably a 9.

It's been probably 15 years since I have had an album I listened to from start to finish over and over. Heavener is the first album in a long time that I can't get enough of and play start to finish almost daily. What an incredible and amazing album. I think about the songs all throughout the day which hasn't happened for me in a long time.

Keep coming back to this one, the lyrics and instruments are just too good to ignore.

Literally just discovered this band and going in 3 weeks to see them in Toronto. I don't go to concerts often, only for the best of the best bands on occasion, and Invent Animate is on another tier, along with Spiritbox for me. I hope they lean towards this melodic soulful metal. What a chorus!

All I have to say for this release.. after what I've heard from Sleep Token this year, these guys are lucky those guys aren't doing an album.
Not everything is a competition my guy. If sleep token released an album it would be completely possible for *both* to be good. People that compare and make it a competition for bands is low key toxic 🥴
