@@ItIsYouAreNotYour more than half the time (so far) in this mode even after I've planned what I'm going to do I go "hmm, but I haven't killed every single person on this map yet to see if they have any good weapons". I assume I'll play properly once I have a decent armoury and know who has good weapons, but for now, the most efficient way to loot the entire map is to kill everyone.

From 17:30 to 19:00, it's so funny to see when NL thinks he's about to be slick, but you're watching the Mini-map and can see the white dot walking into the room about to ruin his 'master plan'.

My favorite thing about NL's Hitman gameplay is when he engages in entirely unnecessary self-imposed side quests before even locating the targets.

I have to assume there's a way to get a white mask in the first mission, perhaps by talking to the greeter, but Egg just wanders around sticking out as much as humanly possible.
One thing I've noticed is it seems like you might not understand how to read the minimap. Anyone who is an enforcer (has a white dot over their head) will also show up as a white dot on the minimap, so you don't need to stare at them to see if they will notice you - just check that. Black dots are NPCs who won't care about you (currently - if you take out a weapon or go somewhere restricted, they may turn into a white dot). If there is an NPC but no corresponding dot at all on the minimap, they are a crowd NPC and _have no AI_. You can literally murder someone directly in front of them and they will go into a "cower" animation but will be unable to remember you or alert guards or anything else. For instance, in the crowded bazaar in Marrakesh, if you look at the minimap you will notice that there are actually only a handful of NPCs in any given area. It's completely possible to knock out all the real NPCs and then just stab your target in the face.

the roguelite mode is so goated, these devs know what they are doing. A worthy successor to Marvel's Midnight Suns
Ryan actually going flawless on that Marrakesh mission took this game from silly fun to insane pog levels. I'm hooked, hope we see more!

if it's white to play, you just take the knight and start pushin P to make a queen.
if it's black to play, you have to move the knight out of the way, but then white moves the a pawn forwards out of the black king's range. from that point on, it's impossible for black to prevent at least one pawn from safely promoting:
moving the knight to threaten either pawn wouldn't work; you just push that pawn.
moving the king forward to threaten the a pawn wouldn't work; you just push the a pawn.
moving the knight to threaten the space in front of either pawn would stop that pawn, but then you can just push the other pawn.
the only potential strategy for black is to move the knight such that it threatens the space in front of the a pawn, then move the black king forward to take it. but once the black king is in range, you would just push the other pawn. if king captures, there's no way for the knight to catch up with the other pawn before it becomes a queen.
the best black can do is try to get a knight vs queen endgame, which is always a win for the guy with the queen.
