      @@GoXplr depends on your version of off roading. No front locker, no sway bar disconnect. In exchange for long travel suspension and power. For the kind of wheeling in this video, the power wagon is probably the best stock truck for the job.

    Just went down to the DBBB this last weekend. We only managed to go down Spaas creek in the time we had. I had to take everything pretty slow since my Nissan Xterra is on stock suspension and I didn't want to damage anything. Had a blast though really testing out what the thing can do. Camped out on Indian Creek Saturday night and made some walking tacos. Really looking forward to going back down there in the future!

    I just want to say nice job knowing when to speak, and when to let the video happen uninterrupted.
    Way too many people nowadays either talk too much or add too much music.
    I can't wait until I can get another rig and get back out on the trails. It's been too long.

      I thought there was some pretty good trails around the blue ridge mountains in North Carolina but I could be wrong.

      Devin, there are a few good ones in Burke County and/or adjoining counties that are fairly comparable to this trail. I stress fairly comparable.

    I love the new trails there. Did you guys hit the Wayne Benson Rd? I didn't recognize it if you did. That is a beautiful section of the DBBB. Of course all of it is!!!

    Great vid as always!!! What the new DBBB map calls Johnson Hollow Rd is named Ratliff Rd in Gaia. I wonder if they changed the name?

    29:20 was that Igo ridge? If so, when you got out of the woods and went left, you went up a hill and down the other side it wind to the right, the White House on the left with the flag pole was my grandmas house. We walked that trail a bunch of times. We called it brushy creek.

      Thanks! We use Gaia GPS. You can download the maps of where you are going so you will have them offine

    That hill on cold iron and the one at the end of the forest service road have both gotten a lot worse on the past week or so.

      @@CoddiwompleOverland 7:50 your front locker was not engaging. I am looking forward to hitting the east coast trails in Sept and again next summer with my parents. We both drive JK Rubicons, but it looks like our All Terrain tires are not going to work very well out there.

      We did not have our front locker engaged. If it is wet,you will struggle with AT's

    What kind of passes are required for disperse camping and trail use are involved in the Daniel Boone national forest?

      No permits are required but you have to make sure that you are on public land.

      It was not rubbing. We put it that way to keep it as low as possible. We have since changed its mounting location. We aren't fans of things rubbing paint either.
