Fishing for Whitefish on the Bay of Green Bay 2024 | Sturgeon Bay | Wisconsin Ice Fishing

With Wisconsin's weather warming up and ice conditions deteriorating rapidly, few friends and I decided to head out to fish the Bay of Green Bay for some whitefish. Although, this may be our first and last trip, we made it worth it and managed to catch a two man limit.

I’ve been telling people to grab those slimy whitefish with tongs for years. You’re the first one I’ve ever seen do it.

Haha. I can't take all the credit. My buddy in the video, True, gave me the idea a few years back. But, hey, if you do get one, don't cheap out on your tongs. The one in the video seconds as a bonker. It was $25, too, I believe, from Walmart.
