    Hello Everyone...!!
    sorry I made a mistake at 15:20 which is the copy and move part... the command will be "cp file2 f1" and to check it the command will be "ls f1" and the same for mv command "mv f5 f4" and to check it the command will be "ls f4"... I apologize for the mistake. Thanks!! Keep Learning and Keep Growing!!

    ALL COMMANDS-
    [1] ls: to show all directory or file
    [2] ls -l:to open all details of the file
    [3] ls -la:to open all hidden file (one with dot extension) details
    [4] pwd:shows present working directory
    [5] cd filename:to open a file or directory
    [6] touch filename:to create a empty file
    [7] cat > filename:to create a file with data
    [8] cat filename: to see data of file in terminal
    [9] cat >> filename:to change the data of file
    [10] mkdir foldername:to create a folder
    mkdir f1 f2 f3 :to create three folder
    [11] clear/ctrl +l: to clear the terminal
    [12] cp f1 f2:to copy a file f1 to f2
    [13] cp f1 /f2:to copy a file f1 to f2 using path
    sudo cp f1 f2:to copy a file if not a root user
    [14] sudo mv f1 /f2:to move a file from f1 to f2
    [15] rm filename:to remove a file
    rm -r foldername:to remove a folder
    [16] mv filename filename2:to rename a file
    mv foldername foldername2:to rename a folder

    For removing a directory you can also use the command as 'rmdir' instead of using rm -r directoryname.

      rmdir only removes empty directories, rather what the video explains is suitable for all directories.,

    Thanks for the video. I question, for move command we used (mv) and for renaming also (mv)..what's the difference. Don't you think we are just moving file with changing its name..

    how can i create a folder named "New Folder" - i mean, with one space between New and Folder, but there'll be only one folder named "New Folder"? mkdir ....? And i wonder why at 16:41 it didn't list file2 under f1 , following the ls command.

      I have same doubt, many of his copy and move command didn't seem to work and yet no explaination about that. He simply moved ahead on next command.

    Sir, I have deleted all directory of user home directory(including Desktop, Download..) by using
    rm -r * command by mistake.
    Now,my home directory is:
    $pwd
    /home/ken
    $:ls
    Nothing is here.
    How can I get all directory?

      You need to create them and also you need to set proper user ownership on those directories
