I mean he later got revived in Super Bomberman 3... and died again. But he got revived again in Super Bomberman R! And then he became one of the good guys
Well, considering that those "small" bombs can impair, harm and destroy absurdly powerful cosmic level beings like Ultimate Buggler or the Angel of Light and Shadow I think it is fair to say that these bombs are not what meets the eye, those things are essentially supernovas condensed within a 3 feet tall metallic orb.
At the end of Phantom Bomber's fight, I couldn't help but imagine this: White Bomber: "... Actually, this IS a nice cape... This is mine now, I'm taking it."
Wow it's so awesome to find a recent boss run of my favorite Bomberman game Super Bomberman 2! I was just listening to the soundtrack of it the other day and I'll definitely say it's up there as one of my favorite SNES soundtracks. Also I really like how the bosses showed different coloration the more times they are hit meaning they're closer to being defeated. Not many games with bosses back then did that much.

Wolfraimer Its a trigger bomb, it only goes off when you press the "b" button. You can them explode at any time
