Love to see this match, people will find any excuse for anyone and say they're not good enough or ready to take Levan like saying Jerry needs to re match Ermes. This whole gatekeeping thing needs to stop. I don't care if Jerry can beat Ermes or not that's a different match. Levan needs opponents, we can't just restrict him to the same opponents and as we know just because A beats B and B beats C doesn't mean C can't beat A.

Yup, we've seen multiple times that just because A beat B, and B beat C, that doesn't mean A can beat C. That logic doesn't work in armwrestling.

Give Levan Jerry, then Vitali and then Ermes rematch (hoping Ermes gets well asap). Levan needs to fight for that title, 1/2 matches per year are not enough, he needs to face different opponents with different fights

If he is able to hit into great position the way he did vs Kurdecha it's game over. But that's if. We don't know if Levan has an option to block Jerry's press due to his massive size or if he has the speed.
Honestly it's hard to tell until they grip up. I have a feeling the way Jerry sets up for Kurdecha may be near impossible to counter compared to his old setup. He was partly able to do this due to losing 20lbs of fat and partly due to really training his speed.
@nebulouscalamity6338 Yeah, Kurdecha's size was a disadvantage for his match, and Levan is basically just as big. But I'm thinking that Levan's inside strength is strong enough to make up for the lack of arm room/pad room. Would definitely be interesting to see.
He has always been pretty confident that he is the one guy who will be able to defeat and cause problems for Levan. So happy to see it coming. Jerry actually only lives 45 min from me lol

Levan should have more matches. When Zaur was in peak shape he was denied a Levan match. At that time Levan did not have the press he used against Devon in round 1. So Zaur could have top rolled him at the explosive power he had. The same now- BOTH Jerry and Vitaly should get a shot at Levan still in 2024, they are in great shape and can pose a genuine threat, even if not favourites.

@@vampire_kirilI don't think more is necessarily better. His body might also not be able to handle too much. But I'm sure that Jerry is at least using more than basic TRT. For him I think it's more important to show up healthy in December than trying to gain strength. He's in his 50s, so it's likely he can't respond as well to higher dosages as younger athletes.

Here’s my hot take: based on style, forearms length and technical abilities, I think that Levan is an easier match for Jerry than Ermes. Ermes has a shorter forearm and can go purely sideways with that sort of hook if he wants to (and we know this is a killer move against Jerry). Levan instead has a longer forearm, with similar leverage and technique as Alex Kurdecha (obviously Levan is stronger), but still I think Jerry can do better against Levan than he could possibly do against Ermes in a rematch. So he absolutely deserves this opportunity

Not a fan of Kamil. He's only able to perform well when reffing is subpar or bad. A Don Underwood kind of guy that is more suitable for Armwars and WAL.

The only guy I've seen stopping Jerry while he's established his press is Devon larratt! And I think Jerry is even stronger now then then. I've never seen anyone stop Jerry once he sets his press, if he does against levan, he is going to be in big trouble against Jerry as Jerry is way stronger in a press then ermes. And a top roll is not the very best way to beat a flop wrist press.
We have to remember that one style might get smashed by this arm wrestler, but this other arm wrestler, who is number 1, might take an L due to style. Just a reference. Jerry doesn't want anything to do with Devon. Devon offered Jerry a match many times since then, but he wouldn't take it. And in 2018 Devon was coming in around 240's if I remember correctly. Devon wasn't able to train and arm wrestler like he is now, so Jerry would be in big trouble. I wish Devon would've got to go against Levan in the USA. That would've benefited Devon, and I think it'll benefit Jerry, but Jerry will still take the L.

There was no "stop", and if you believed that, why did Levan slice thru Devon the rest of the way in that match?
Levan did just come off of an injury before the last match with Devon. Levan even admitted that Devon genuinely stopped him and that he had to press to finish Devon the first round. But after that, Devon couldn't maintain that strength for the rest of the match. That was basically Devon's one-time "max lift" on the table. I think Micheal Todd or Jerry have more experience and will have a better chance at tiring out Levan. If Jerry can flash-press him to the pad 3 in a row, that's all it'll take. If Michael Todd can hold Levan in a partial kings move like Kamil and tire him out, then that's all it'll take. I'm still skeptical, Levan seems to be a pro with training for each individual. He finds that weak spot and exploits to the enth degree. Ermes needs to reach a new peak with his wrist to take another shot and Levan. That break arm position he used on Levan worked for that match, but I haven't seen that same spark from Ermes since. Ermes held Levan but got destroyed by Devon, like come on.
I was hoping to see Kamil or Kurdecha have a shot at Levan, but they both disappointed me yesterday. I believe if Kurdecha and Kamil had swapped opponents, then we would've seen a little more from each of them.

Ermes is said to actually have problems with long-armed armwrestlers, but his recent victory against Vitaly may be an indicator on fixing that weakness. I think Levan may be exaggerating to make the match bigger than it is, because he has no contenders. Everyone knows Devon's reputation for endurance exists at his OWN strength level, so it's not an issue of what you're saying because he got SMOKED in each round. A "stop" would suggest equal strength, where endurance would be a factor, but if someone has more strength than you, your endurance will not matter at the lower strength level against your stronger opponent.
When you watch the video, while Devon was straining, Levan looked as if he was studying Devon the WHOLE time in that 1st. Round. Remember, endurance is a by product of strength, not the other way around.
