I love this song and this video. Sissy is beautiful singing it. I didn't understand the interaction back and forth between her and the drummer at the beginning, but I just found out that Levon Helm, the drummer, played her father in the movie. That's why she was pointing at him and he was making faces when she talked about her "daddy."

She is wonderful, I just love her. I’ve seen just about every one of her films but Coal Minor’s Daughter is my favorite. She is phenomenal in it!
She lived with Loretta for over a year and worked to master every aspect of her speaking and singing voice as well as her mannerisms.

Well, the Gene Krupa Story wasn't precisely too nice to him.
I don't think the movie got Doolittle right; he wasn't nearly as brash and obnoxious as Tommy Lee Jones portrays him.
