Great video, I'm 48 and getting into BMX for the first time (coming from street motorcycles), this is my most difficult thing to learn. Nice to find a 12 year old video that helps! Old just like me. :)

I'm pretty sure when I raced in the 80s that riders would lift their front wheel off the ground as they approached the whoopdy-doo's, drop their bum behind the seat (almost hitting the back wheel) and then drop the front wheel back down onto the far side of the whoopdy. That allowed you to pedal all the way through the whoopdy without 'getting air' or stopping pedalling. Have things changed that much?

And this is why BMX died and dirt jumping as a sport, flourished. Clips to manipulate your bike over obstacles, is weak, looks weak, not motocrossy in any way. I am still using my arms at 57 and the pros cant figure out how I do it. Much like the way I cant figure out how tip toeing over obstacles is bmx. Great info though. Just not liking the new tracks as much as I thought I would. Rolling everything is lame. BTW, we have been pumping skateparks since the 70s. Half the track should not be a skatepark.
