    I have been considering these, and your's is the most thorough review I could find! I'm curious about what guards you use personally? You mention preferring more compact styles. What brands should I consider for something like that?

    • @scolesdang
      @scolesdang  Před 4 lety +2

      For compact I like the Fairtex sp3

    How should they fit? How much of the shin and toes does it need to cover?

    Could you please measure the length of the actual shin guard, from knee to ankle? I cant find any measurements anywhere, so that would really really help me :)

    I ordered and got mine that was a medium and it was big on me , I’m 5’7 , 154lbs should I get Small or XS ? the medium was way to big for me

    • @scolesdang
      @scolesdang  Před 3 lety +1

      They are a bit long. If you want them shorter get a small. We are the same size and I rock the medium. The Yokkao’s are a bit chunky. If you want more compact get the fairtex sp3

    • @MikeDrew312

      Also 5’7”, fir good, covers knee, they do overhang by the toes. I’m sure that’s on purpose so you don’t chip a top nail 🤫

      @@ainjuhl4509 They are OK not an issue at all but i feel i would go small in future as they are a tiny bit high on the knee, Good if you wanna save yourself from taking a kick to the knee but does impact mobility a little

    You need a microphone clipped to your shirt badly? You have too much echo going on and its very hard to hear what you are saying?

    • @scolesdang
      @scolesdang  Před 4 lety +3

      I’ll grab a mic! Thanks for the feedback
