A release by Data Discs. This is the sixth release by Data Discs. This album came in three vinyl variations: a limited edition mint green, clear, and pink, a mint green, and a classic black. This is the limited edition mint green, clear, and pink variant
The release includes a die-cut window on the front cover, three changable cover inserts, and liner notes from Hiro Kawaguchi. Just like all other Data Discs releases before this, this album also includes a traditional obi strip

Outrun has one of best chill/relaxing music for a video game. At the same time, playing the game was a very stressful event, but incredibly exciting nonetheless. I can't believe someone makes and sells these record. If I had a record player, this would be the first vinyl I'd buy.

Woah, I never noticed there is a cowbell in Splash Wave
It's because the original game was shipped with a broken code that made some of the samples play incorrectly. The vinyl from Data Discs uses the fixed source and this is actually how the track should've always sounded like.
