Oh and remember, the slope is way steeper than it looks on the video. Ive done it very few times and i can tell you, this thing is basically a cliff for a part of it. Right now its covered in rock already so its pretty much impossible to do without destroying your skis and falling 20 times
Yeah pretty sure that’s Johansson but at the end of the day it by far has the worst conditions anywhere on the mountain: ice, giant moguls and a lot of people
Wow; that's a rare thing, seeing the lower section in reasonable conditions (by east coast standards). That was a well deserved rope duck 👏 These are some of the best conditions outside of a rare pow day I've seen on Dynamite... and they still had the lower section closed. So disappointing. We don't have much terrain like this in Quebec... at least not inbounds, I wish they'd let us ride it by default at our own risks.
I wondered why the lower half was roped off. it looked like 6" or more of fresh powder. which is pretty sufficient for east coast standards. even at a rinky dink place in NY without snow making, you could see it open for a day or more (depending on melt and traffic).
The last part is approximately a 40 degree slope. Doesn’t look like it due to the fact he is skiing in as per eastern standards. He went on the right part in the last section but the dynamite cliff that you jump is on the left part. And there is the expo trail which is about the same but… only moguls and on the expo the left side always the best
I’ve skied mt t twice never noticed that ungroomed run maybe wasn’t open . Impressive how he always attacks instead f avoids difficulty like rocks and glades when he could have done easier options
Lmao you had it so easy. I did it when it when it complete ice. You had to shoot the entire cliff face, into the big moguls. Also to anyone watching here, remember it’s 3x steeper irl.
@@pokskis It looks like so much fun! Lucky mf. Tbh ive only done it a couple times, each time during Ontarian March break, so i haven't given myself opportunities for great snow.
True. I ended up doing it 2 times, and i cant remember 1 time i went into the expo chairlift and the pitch wasnt covered in rock. This thing is basically like skiing in a rocky cliff (at least for the big pitch in the middle) usually so its very lucky he was able to do it while there was quite a bit of snow
That or the west coast, is what I tell people when I talk to them on the chairlift and I'm baffled by the fact that people come visit here from southern US, or even South America.
Skied here for a couple days back in January for the first time and I remember I loved this trail!

I skied 40° once. Did not feel very scary
@@holymeto9981 try doing it on a snowboard
@@jacobgagnon1820 Im not a snowboarder.
Love Dynamite but by far the hardest run is that last blue section leading into the village. It's chaos.

I skied on dynamite in february and there were so many rocks, bushes, and crazy ice in the mid section.

老哥牛逼啊,上首页了😂
for good dynamite conditions see "a good spring skiing day at Mont Tremblant"
Wait until the trail becomes 70% grass, and you'll surely change your mind
This is probably 1 of a couple of runs at Tremblant I won't ski
FYI, these conditions in the Dynamite were probably the best of the year.... So when that happens, you do it!
There’s Mont-Tremblant CZcamsrs? That’s cool
It’s so weird watching a ski video when I actually know the area. Like I have mental map of this place
@@yourmom-vv3czSame here! I know all 102 trails by heart, and their ordinal numbers!
Nice boots

Oh yeah fs, this was definitely the best condition I've had on dynamite over the last couple years.

I did it 30 years ago on 201's when it was solid ice. I was 20 years old and pissed my pants.
this run is very difficult
Bro put your pole straps 💀
Maybe doesn't know how to wear them?
No way. Pole straps cause more problems then they solve.
very nice run your very good at moguls lol you smoked your snowboarder friend. did he cause you to fall lol joking
That looks fucked up.
Maan, you went fast, I would've gone. slower on a such a steep descent with moguls -- one moment of doubt and off you fly :)
That's the thrill of it :)
Go to The Alps😂😂😂😂😂

Dynamite was a very light double black in my opinion if you are looking for a challenge try to go to either ryan haut, or zigzag
Zig zag is so short though and Ryan haut on a nice day is quite easy
Dynamite is harder than both these trails...
Danm thats like a green slope at Jackson hole
shut up u plug....its way steeper then it looks on cam
Hmmmmmmm, green slopes at jackson hole are 42° steep.
@@holymeto9981plus all the moguls and ice 😂 dynamite is terrifying
@@shinwang2469 I did it this year, and it wasn't icy, but man was the cover AWFUL
Or Whistler any proper size mountain in the west is gonna be harder tho obviously
