INTENSE BATTLE on the Highways of Tokyo in an Evo IX | Gran Turismo 7 PSVR2

- After 2 years of waiting, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR has finally arrived to Gran Turismo 7. I immediately upgraded this thing to the max and threw on the HKS Hipermax CT230R Livery (credit to 'squat-shirt' on PSN). The car is probably the boatiest feeling Evo of the bunch, but an Evo is an Evo and it is fun regardless. The game gave it some very nice body kit upgrades as well.
I then took it to Tokyo to have it race against my other tuner builds to see how it would pair up against the AI. It ended up being a very nice, rough battle!

The way you look at the apex of a corner in VR really reminds of the cockpit view in need for speed shift 2, that game had the most intense feel of speed and every car sounded like it was begging for the sweet release of death at the redline
I know this has been said many times before, but Shift 2 was the only racing game in which it was scary for me to drive fast.
Shift 2's camera is just the best for cockpit view.
Dude I saw so many reviews on Shift 2 and so few people were even taking about this feature in the game. Which is quite sad, because it was the only racing game where driving in cockpit view was so great. Kind of weird the no-one stole that feature after Shift 2.

Mostly because the faster you go the more the physics engine breaks down. Everything felt like it was on skates after you hit 100mph or so.
No, every single car sounds like transmission, that all you could here in that god awful game
Seeing all these livery upped cars racing on the Tokyo Highway track really gave me serious Racing Battle vibe.
To fix the mid corner understeer change the following :
Torque diff front & rear - 5 torque diff basically dictates how much mid corner rotation you want your car to have, if your are understeering you want to lower the number. If your are oversteering mid corner make the number higher.
0.08 - 0.10 toe in front & rear- works well with awd cars, toe in makes your front wheels grip better mid corner creating more rotation at the expense of brake stability
Then to fix the brake stability increase the front and rear brake differential in the range of 30 - 40.

I want to start a “Tokyo Highway Battle” Recreation in GT7- Can use any manufacturer & any car/truck. Drag Racing - Tunnel Runs from a Dig - heads up. Then also Roll Racing - any MPH starting speed that drivers can both agree on. Then I also want to do Touge style races- Two rounds - 3rd round for tiebreaker. In the original Genki made Tokyo Highway Battle/Zero - Import Tuner games. The cars had a life bar similar to a fighting game like Mortal Kombat. I was thinking maybe we can do a point to point race - First to cross the finish. Wins. I wish they recreated and released Tokyo Highway Battle type of game - on PS4-5 & even Xbox. If they can make the graphics and sounds etc. it would be an insanely successful game in my opinion.

Basically every AWD car needs the diff braking sensitivity maxed out to stop the awful entry oversteer. A 60/40 weight split with stiffer springs in the back isn't helping either.

GT7 have very electonic engine sounds and the enviorment looks kinda 2013 (like buildings and stuff)
