The look on her face when he flips down the control panel is perfect.
For me it’s the moment he leans in to kiss her, you can see her reaction is more like it’s not the first time he’s gone to do dangerous stuff
I love her entire acting sequence in this scene, from the dinner table to the end. She's perfectly choreograph a mixture of a happy mum, a mum in disbelief, a surprised mum, a loving mum, a scared mum, yet all while displaying absolutely trust and love in Bob odenkirks character even though he suddenly got serious. Her acting shows that no matter how long they have been married, she still knows and understands her husbands inner toughness.
You can tell her character deep down fully trusts her husband and sees him as a protector so she just does what he says because she knows he will protect her and the kids.
As much as I love the action in this sequence, her acting is equally as sublime.

neighbours? the fucking other guys in the house didnt hear it, they are unloading guns and the rest of the guys are oblivious.
The weapons had silencers atteached.

I was less than pleased with the first ~15 mins and boy did the rest of the movie turn that around into one of my favorite movies

The way his son says yup when he tells him to get the door is spot on. Teens know when something is wrong and when to be serious and the trust to listen to his dad is great.

Sorry, but I heavily disagree with that. This is a movie. Today, in reality, teens would be freaking out and asking wayyy too many questions rather than listening to Dad. Most kids today have zero respect for elders/parents. Teens know Everything!

I remember on a few occasions when my dad got quiet and gave quick and sharp instructions and me and my brothers quickly responded knowing what he meant, but that’s because he built that trust and understanding with us. We knew if he went to go check out a suspicious noise, or gave instructions we would follow his lead, because we trusted him to do what needed to be done.
And in time, as we grew older, he trusted us to have his back in those moments.
Not that anything bad ever happened, but the point is that parents are responsible to create trust with their children and children bare the responsibility to trust their parents. Neither will work without the other.

This entire movie only worked because of Odenkirk, he truly is incredible!

I like how that kettle reaches boiling just as he grabs it ( a little audio efx to highlight it's boiling water while keeping the home quiet for the invasion).
You would think Hollywood would put one Woman as a wife who just listens when her Husband gets serious suddenly. Especially a husband like that.
It is so derivative of the John Wick series. Even the "Nobody" title, and the stash of metal currency. But it is also so good.
The guy who wrote the 1st John Wick wrote this. And speaking of derivative, the guy who John killed while his hands were zip tied, is the same guy that got his teeth knocked out and later got beat with the hospital chair by the Russian guy. That hospital scene was wild 😂😂😂😂

Believe it or not, they do in fact have low-gunpowder specialty rounds SPECIFICALLY to be low-noise. They are typically quieter than a suppressor would make the weapon. If all you are using it for is powdering a standard door lock or frame, you can absolutely get away with low noise.
