sobriety and success are two different things, i have been clean off heroin for almost 2 years. and it is IMPOSSIBLE to stay clean w/o christ. i love Jonny, and i will keep praying for him. and so should all of you, instead of looking behind him, look at what he has to loose...his life. fame is just 1 more empty pursuit that will never satisfy, like heroin. I think Nicholas is right. I was praying for jonny through all of that mess, and so were a lot of the other bands/friends/family he was around at the time. I'm not trying to push this on anyone. All I'm saying, and i think what Nicholas is saying, is that I believe in God for what he has done in my life. I know for a fact he is there. So many things were done, I know couldn't have been from my own strength. We are just human, we fail but God is there and he does love us. It's definitely noticeable he was gifted with this voice and ran with it without outside help. Imagine if he had gotten a vocal coach or something... A fantastic voice, just not the best.
