THE COUNTRY BEARS LAST DAY AND FINAL SHOW AT DISNEYLAND SEPTEMBER 9TH 2001

Beyond a covered bridge, surrounded by Australian Tree Ferns and Azaleas was the quaint hillside entrance to The Country Bear Playhouse in Critter Country. Six months shy of the 30th anniversary, the curtains closed for the last time on the evening of September 9th 2001. Both theaters were filled to capacity for their dual final performances. It came down to the wire for some of the last people waiting in line. Theater two was loaded beforehand with everyone inside waiting for theater one to do the same. I hope you enjoy this continuous footage of loading the lobby, the theater and eventually the final performance with guests in theater one.
