Went to that concert, Chambers Bros. Wow. Hadn’t heard that in a loooong time. I’m enjoying trying to listen to all the San Diego and LA stations. Would like more kgb from mid-late 60’s and to mid 70’s. Especially the old fm 101.5 Jim and Linda plus if you have any of the Homegrown albums. Mine are Old and slightly scratchy. Thank you for this posting.
I didn't know that Jim Carson was once a Boss Jock in San Diego, CA. My late Dad was a one-time Boss Jock at KYNO in Fresno, CA I was just a kid, but have always been fascinated about this format. Thanks for sharing.
Visit www.mixcloud.com/retroradiojoe/ for hundreds more airchecks, of the 50s through 80s, many unscoped!
Jim Carson was BRILLIANT on mornings on KFRC in the 70s
Thank you!
You're very welcome!

That's cool your Dad was a boss jock at KYNO. What was your Dad's on-air name?
Was your Dad Jay Steven’s/Steve Jay?
My Dad's radio name was John David Barry after me & my 2 brothers. He also worked at KAFY & WFEC. Thanks
Jim Carson was an excellent jock. He was on K-Earth for many years. RIP
