Have recieved tons of calls texts etc regarding this matter, yes I have parted ways with the company. Genuinely couldn’t be more excited for the next chapter, lots of updates and videos to come! No more 130 mile round trips to the office, no bad blood, no hate, just a calculated decision at the end of the day.

He's talented in a ton of different ways and brought some humility as opposed to the 40 year old Hypebeasts that dress like they're 15 year old dorks. You are better off on your own. Exactly, now if you buy a watch from Luxury Bazaar, you don't know what you're buying and it may blow up in your face. Their contract agreement is so dense that the onus is on the purchaser to prove wrong doing if you happen to buy a lemon. Seems shady to me.

"Flex" is code for being rich and having a big dick. Any watch that isn't a "flex" is a "beginner" watch. These guys are pricks and sleazy snobs. To be fair... they are smart. Doesn't matter.

As a small business owner myself, I’ve realized after decisions have been made through self reflection how I could’ve handled situations differently. Imagine canning the only person there who could spot a fake from a mile away (one has to wonder how many fakes slipped passed them before Peter) and the one person who could have led a service division and someone who could buy by themselves.
Roman was always talking about it's impossible to hire service talent. They could have sent Peter to watch school and had him lead a new division.

I think you're being too idealistic. Grey market dealers only car about integrity as far is it lets them make sales. Some of them are passionless and were never collectors themselves. They view the watches like used cars, gold coins or any other commodity that can be flipped for a quick buck. They aren't interested too much in servicing or even a good polishing. That's time and money to them. They just want to churn watches out as quickly as possible. I have yet to buy from a gray market dealer. Most of them look like they practice ritual genital mutilation and sacrifice children to Molech.
You seem like a very well raised kid. Work very professional. You were the one sale men i felt comfortable to buy from. You know the watch inside and out.
Rather then just getting a sale. You want a good transaction and sale and experience. Keep up the work. Really chill guy. You can do your own thing
I honestly learned so much from Peter that I sometimes feel and act like Peter as much as I possibly can - dude is literally an idol to me and an icon for me in this watch-world and to be humbled and inspired by an individual 10-15 years younger than you is a journey a real trip -

Sometimes these peacock's that know everything are the worst employees to bring into a company. Contant jealousy and backstabbing usually follow with a hire like that. Some people are lone wolves and cannot work in a 1990's focus group environment.
Honestly buddy me getting laid off at my last job made me jump into opening up my own business and year and a half later still going strong and hopefully works out. But I hope you go the same route and stick it out cause watching the the content seems like you will succeed regardless and in the long run will be way more lucrative for you! Best of luck bro!

Damn, you're more than half the reason I watched Gray Market. The only one with real watch knowledge and not just market knowledge. If you keep up the same kind of content I'll watch it on any channel.
After seeing the one on one meetings Adrian was putting on you could see what a toxic environment it is there. Adrian worries more about sales than the health of his employees. Just seeing you guys on a big dinner like table in the middle of the room with cameras above your heads while Adrian and others had their own offices with no cameras says it all. It looks like LB is the Titanic. I wish Roman would wake up and get out there as well. Best of luck, you won by not having to go back there.

I got super off put during the video where apparently a panda daytona was listed for $8,000 or $9,000 on accident and then sold, and when the client wanted that price honoured adrian thrrew a fit saying the guy was trying to scam and all this non sense. If you price something thats 100k for 1k on your site and it sells, you need to honor it. I dont care for him at all. Peter/roman where the 2 best guys

Sorry, if it wasn't clear enough kind of winged this whole thing. Pretty much i was let go, numbers weren't on par with others mutual understanding, i was getting drained from the commute regardless.

Take the Real Estate market , its been dead and comes back all the time. An exceptional talent Sir. LB most certainly have made an enormous error in losing you. Whatever your intended position should have been, you always play to your employees strengths if they are of worth to the business. Reading between the lines LB weren’t capable of this and haven’t offered you the support an employer should. Chasing the numbers that LB seem to in this market and the overheads they currently have is going to see a large cull in staff I expect. Perfect opportunity to thrive on your own. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a business collab with some of you moving forward away from LB. Too big in the wrong market. Know you’re going to smash this new venture 🫡

I offered LB SEVERAL sub $10 k watches. And there's zero hate here, but they were never interested, though they were always interested in my standard rolex etc stuff. Watches I sold with ease to many other people. Omegas with an easy $700 margin. Vintage stuff with easily $800-$1200 margins. Rare Seikos etc. But it seemed if it wasn't a rolex or modern Omega at those prices they never bought. They could have bought dozens and dozens of different/lesser known types to sell to newer customers but they would never buy them. They constantly told me (Marco usually) they are "too hard to move" yet I could move them in less than a week every time, and I just do it for fun. There's a shit ton of margins on the lower ends watches because you get way more opportunity to buy for less. Sure 10% on $100k is nice. But I can sell 10 watches for $500-$1k margin way faster. I just sold am Omega Chrono from the 80s for a $900 profit in a DAY to a MAJOR player in the game, LB didn't even want to offer lol.
If the profits are so good and easy to move why are you bothering trying to sell to someone who has to make a mark up and have a bigger operational costs. Difference is their operating costs are far higher than small traders

Clearly LB, similar to rest of the grey market, is hurting badly at the moment.
The solution to adverse market conditions NEVER is to demand your sales team to put in identical results versus the good times.

Quality and maintenance are always seen as costs to management compared to sales, its a tale as old as time, you're telling them no and wait when all they want to hear yes and go!
Ur always irreplaceable when u work under someone. Be independently wealthy instead on dependently wealthy
