There is also less applicants this year in a lot of schools because of the negativity in social media about nursing so schools are getting less picky about who they will accept but if your school had so many applicants that is impressive. Nursing is a great career!!

Congrats🎉happy for you. I do have a question however. Will you be doing the ADN program with the BSN simultaneously. How do one do that. Cause I too applied to my community college for the ADN program. But I thought one needs to wait to acquire the certification as an RN to do the rn-BSN.

Yes I am :) My 4 year school has a few different pathways to earn a BSN. The first is a traditional in-person BSN, which takes 4 years to complete. The second is an RN-BSN, which is probably the one you're most familiar with. This is for registered nurses who already have their ADN who want to go back to school for their BSN. Another program that they have is called a concurrent enrollment (CEP) RN-BSN, which is for students enrolled in an ADN program who can take upper division BSN classes online at the same time. Not a lot of school offer a CEP RN-BSN, so I got very lucky
