I think they came in as a team as a family and he was the only one that stayed loyal. It’s deeper than music and us casual fans won’t get it. It’s not for us. But I do understand. This is beyond music and there’s no telling what he’s seen and what Jody has had to go through and still stay solid. So why his friends chose to play the game for fame and fortune; he chose his soul and his real life over fame and fortune. That’s the point. He’s not going to pretend to be happy when so much other things happened outside of just the success. He’s not mad or bitter. It’s just more to the story and it all counts.
