cant believe you missed the 'world cup' thing where the players would compete for the best country which made cars. the whole idea was good, but it was executed badly - the gift was a literal autoshow car
It’s sad to see the downhill of Forza Horizon, seeing gameplay of Horizon 3 back in the day was one the main factors to getting my first gaming PC, I played and loved that game and 4 after for hundreds of hours but with 5 I just can’t get into it I don’t know why I don’t feel the want to play it.

To add salt into the injury, 997 Sports Classic was featured in 3 games (FM3,FM4,FH5). In all of those games, it was locked behind the paywall wall. Sure, 1st 2 times, it was done by Turn10, but it's still pathetic. Forza made us pay for 1 car 3 times.
You know it was behind this paywall in FM3 and FM4? Because they had to buy these linceses for Porsche from EA
@Pascal-rs6vt I knew that at the time EA had exclusive deal with Porsche, hence why I'm not mad at Turn10 for putting it behind paywall. But I'm mad at PGG for doing so. They didn't need to do it as the exclusive EA/Porsche deal was already years over.

In fh3 I was given a race car Lamborghini (idk which one) but since it was DLC I could not use or drive it

You're right on the money on the sounds in Horizon 4. That's my favorite game overall, but the sounds are a 90s Need For Speed throwback, and not in a good way.

I think motorsport is the biggest embarrassment I’ve seen in ages. GT7, despite all the problems it has, is getting more praise now because of how awful fm is
The racing genre has gone way downhill. You no longer have any variation. It's either games that want to be like Forza horizon or just sim racers. Like whatever happened to the arcade racing genre, Burnout was my favorite racing series due to how fun it was. Now the things we ae stuck with is getting old fast like the festival thing, Like we have 5 horizons, horizon itself made the festival thing old let alone other games. It's just that the racing genre is starting to feel like the shooter genre, so many games copying off eachother because nobody has ideas anymore and just won't look back at the actually fun titles and ideas.
Are there any fun variants within the racing games? At least Gran Turismo stayed true with their license tests, missions, and now with Music Rally. Lovely Autocross in FM is now gone with FM2023.
Just to add one: The door hinges on the barn doors are wrong, The Z must start at lower hinge to support the top inner part door. 😀

Assetto Corsa is more fun and has alot more freedom and car choices, the downside is, the graphics won't come close to Forza, and you need to be on PC
Add the AM DBS that sound with an Amarican V8 instead of the V12 to bad sounds.
